What kind of reward people want. We all know they cant give that sword of 1-shot. They could add similiar as PVP ranks to PVE, maybe that could do it, if fun isnt enough to play Trials, find another game.

Scale to VR16 first, and make sure to re-scale again if VR is removed. Rework the drop tables to rotate on a weekly basis, and include 2-3 sets that are fixed drops from other content. This lets Trials continue to be revelant even as new gear is released.

Why not attach it to the achievement for completing all 3 hardmodes? Promotes people to improve their playstyle more than if it were simply finishing all 3 trials normally

Keep the leaderboards for the new arena, but every week, within the week if you complete all 3 you get a key in the mail. That key opens a trial chest. Game already works that way with mail rewards and there is a chest for pledges. Have a weekly raid chest.. In the sewers.. With the teenage mutant ninja khajiters. Also the loot needs to be legendary and OP.

I think the main problem is that other, very similar activities, do yield far better rewards. Meaning they loose time i terms of gold and are therefore loosing competitiveness, because of gear grind, cp, etc. On the other hand there are less players who would like to group up if the don't yield any rewards, which makes it generaly harder to find a party.

First and foremost would be bringing out a new trial. If they could at least scale the weekly rewards for all three and DSA (they already do this for AA/HRC), it would maybe get a few more people interested.

I'd like to see gold undaunted keys added to the weekly coffers and leader board rewards.
That would be a pretty good incentive for people to continue running them.

While i agree with you I can understand the reasoning,but hell if my guild wanted to just do them once we have enough for that in the level range we'd do them just to do them

Focus more on 4man content, allowing party scaling. Got 4? Scale to party. Got 9, scale to party. Keep a scoring bracket for 4/8/12.

If a group of V14's go in, it should be scaled to them. If a group of V16's go in, it should be scaled to them.

Once they get rid of VR, I would suppose all trials would be the same level and all loot would scale. I think it is better to just have a new trial next instead of bothering scaling the old ones, they are really stale at this point and the sets blow, I don't see much point in farming vr16 versions.

What I would do:

Leave AA as it is, but increase level of the box you get for completing it once a week to V14
Scale HRC to V14 and increase the level of the box to V16
Scale Sanctum to V16.

Scale DSA and vDSA to V16 (they are the same level, right? Or is normal DSA lower? I can't remember.)

Scale the Leaderboard rewards to V16.

That way people can ease into trials by starting with AA and moving up the ladder so to speak.

I think the biggest problem with the Vet rank removal is exactly the gear. I don't know how they can flatten 16 levels of gear and not break the game.
