I posed this question

Looking around in Tamriel, I often wonder about the composition of the atmosphere, and how the globe of Tamriel would look. I also contemplate how plants spread.
Anyone else with a scientific mind care to weigh in?
in a few discusions; however, I would like a DEV to weigh in.
I am also curious about the geological history of Tamriel, and how/why it has changed throughout the games.
If you could even provide a topographical map, perhaps I can make some inferences on possible tectonic plates and such.
I also am interested in understanding why most animals are so aggressive, even if they are not in a pack. I understand some animals are under the influence of one of the daedric princes, but this shouldn't be the case for most animals. Given how long human(oids) have inhabited these regions, it would make more sense for most of these animals to be fearful of humans and mer. two examples are wolves, bears, and some large cats "senche" (not including lions). The only time that these animals would be aggressive toward humans is when they are protecting their young. Otherwise, most animals would rather run from humans and try saving energy than fight. Sure, there are examples when a human was killed by an animal, but there are multiple reasons behind these attack. One reason could be starvation/just woken up from hibernation. However, given the resources available throughout most of Tamriel (plenty of berries/game) these animals shouldn't have any reason to attack a human, especially an armed human.
