Questions about dominions

I have only played as Ebonheart pact since I began playing and now that I am finishing off Calldwells Gold I have a few issues confusing me.

For instance, do other factions have a trading area like Riften in their home areas and if so, where are they??

Starting off in Callwells first session there are daedric heart drops everywhere and it continues in every town.....are those easy for them to find normally and if so, what is considered rare to them?

Those are only a couple things that threw me for a loop, and I know I may need to play another faction to see for sure, but I have a hard time doing that because I am a guild leader for an Ebonheart guild, so I don't know how the guildees will take that ya know?

If anyone can answer the two I posted that would be grannnnd and I thank you in advance!!

Peace :)

What exactly do you mean by "a trading area like Riften"? Are you talking about a place with a bunch of good guild traders? If so, Rawl'kha in the Aldmeri Dominion zone of Reaper's March is generally considered the best place for guild traders. There are a bunch of them really close together right by the wayshrine and the bank, and all of the amenities (stables, crafting stations, vendors, etc) are really close by. From what I understand the bidding for those guild traders is insane, and as such only the busiest trading guilds can afford to maintain a presence there. I can't think of an equivalent place in Daggerfall zones.

As far as daedra hearts go, they only drop in veteran zones. So you may have them drop in Daggerfall zones, but a Daggerfall character won't have them drop in Daggerfall zones.

Rare style mats and motif books drop ONLY in veteran zones - so an EP character will start finding them only in DC zones onwards. They are not there for DC players from the start, DC players will start finding them only in AD zones onwards, and AD players will start finding them only in EP zones onwards.

You have not missed out on anything, drops are based on the level of the instance you are in.

EDIT: In terms of trading hubs, for AD players the most-favored one is Rawl'kha, for EP it is Mournhold, and for DC it is Wayrest.

I find the traders in the capital cities (Wayrest / Elden Root / Mournhold) have a pretty good stock and usually have much better prices than in Rawl'kha or Belkarth. Additionally, the traders in those cities are all quite close to their respective wayshrines, even if the bank and other amenities are not quite as convenient as in Rawl.

What I mean by that is a place where traders hang out to trade publicly instead of using guild traders.

If by trading you mean general trade and /zone spamming, then either Belkarth, Rawl'kha or Stormhaven are a place to be, if you are DC.

As far as players selling stuff in zone chat, for DC it's daggerfall. Your starter city may be the same.

Daedra hearts and those rare drops drop on gold zones. For you it's dominion. For me, it's ebonheart.

So they are not rarer to one faction or another.

The exception is Dwemer frames and motifs. I imagine they sell better in dominion areas as there are no Dwemer delves in AD. So only vet AD players will get them.

Guild trades are universal. The ones in AD might be mostly owned by AD, but people from EP and DC can buy from them in silver/gold

For DC, the higher end traders are usually in Wayreat. It fee's a lot of higher level player traffic due to the undaunted enclave. So there's money to be made there.

Wouldn't agree so much about Daggerfall, since the Undaunted guild is in Stormhaven, there is more veteran rank players there. That's where the real trading is at. What will you sell to a level 20 person in Dagerfall who is there because they don't know that there are other bigger cities?
