Magicka NB question

I have a low-level magicka NB that I recently started. Also, I know the 2H weapon skill line relies on stamina for damage and frequency of attacks, but I was wondering if it makes sense for a magicka NB to wield a 2H weapon for when enemies get too close for comfort (to use WB), the alternative is I'd go one hand and shield and go for defensive posture (a la Deltia's Umbra build) or dual wiled swords to get the spell damage bonus. Thoughts anyone?

As a Magicka Nightblade you can take all the class skills.

Informative you post this as I just recently came across a Mag NB in pvp who had Resto and 2H. My group of 4 V16s was completely REKT by him. Luckily (bc he was a cool dude) we were able to do duels against him 1v1 for awhile and he still continued to REK us haha. Only the Templar killed him once. But I never saw him use a single ability from the 2H? I tried whispering him and never got a response. It was too late when I realized my status was set to offline. #epicfail

I have Dual Wield and Two Handed. Dual Wield gives a little bit more Spell Damage (think only 3 points more) but Two Handed boosts my Class Skills a lot more than Dual Wield. It´s still one of those things I dont understand in this Game.

Only thing I can think of is the possible use of rally as a heal while stealthed so it doesn't make you pop?
