so i tried to copy the Whole Zenimax online folder through my home network to my GF's laptop and didnt work, said it was missing DXDCompliance .. so not sure if its corrupt file or not the right software on the laptop! this morning my new PC Cam and a friend told me to just copy out the " elderscrolls online eu" file and install the base game from website. just wondering if any one knew if i should do the whole file or just the elderscrolls eu one like my friend said ^^ cheers

It's been a long time since I last did this, but when I copied across from another PC, this is the order I did it in:
    1. Download the Launcher from the site
    2. Start the Install from the Launcher if it doesn't start automatically
    3. Once it has started, Cancel the install from Game Settings
    4. Copy the files across, either from "Elder Scrolls Online/live/" or "Elder Scrolls Online/liveeu/" depending on your server
      • There should be three folders inside: /depot, /game, and /vo_xx, where xx is your language
    5. Open the Launcher again; it may try to automatically Update, in which case, Cancel it
      • If it tries to Install rather than Update, close the launcher and reopen it
    6. From Game Settings, run Repair

Download DirectX and it should fix your issues.

You need to copy the whole ESO tree to a second PC, ie. the directory under which you find the LAUNCHER, UNINSTALL and THE ELDER SCROLLS EU folders: the UNINSTALL folder isn't likely to be needed if you want to save some space.

There is also an ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE folder in MY DOCUMENT which holds some setup info but that probablky is best set up from scratch on the second PC.

I couldn't find any reference to the DXDCompliance you referred to, Google only found your post here, I think perhaps it was DX Compliant (which refers to the DirectX video system in WIndows), in which case it likely means either the graphics chip in her laptop doesn't support DirectX or else it doesn't have the required version installed.
