Veteran Ranks (How to level up)?

Hi There, everybody.

I became Veteran Rank 1, 3 days ago, but I still haven't gotten to Veteran Rank 2. Why is this happening. Im only like half way through on the Experience Bar!? Does anybody have any tips or trick to help get to Veteran Rank 2-16? Thanks

Have you spoke to Cadwell and started "Cadwell's Silver"? it leads you through the other faction's quests and the XP to get each Veteran Rank is around 750k/800k or so. It's not as easy as getting a normal rank like 45 to 46, hence "Veteran"

PvE in Cadwell's Silver and Gold then PvE in Craglorn (Group), daily dungeons, crafting writs and IC, PvP or grind are your choices. Fastest way to level is to grind.

Ways to boost XP gain are group up, rings of Mara, XP pot or scroll and ESO membership all of which give XP boost and stack with each other. As someone else has already said Vet levelling is significantly slower than Non-Vet levelling, it is just the nature of the beast.

One Veteran Rank is loosely equivalent to one Cadwell Zone. So complete the first zone of Cadwell's Silver, and you should gain one rank. Each Veteran rank should take about 10 times longer than a regular level.

Repeatable quests in Cyro have increased xp and the delves too. That really helped me when I was vet leveling.

as some have mentioned the leveling goes a lot slower.
I find it more pleasing to check my champion level bar to track exp gains but as Endoc replies, if questing, doing one whole zone usually equates to one VR level.

There are spots to grind but if this is your first character, I'd suggest playing through the required silver quests to access the gold zones at the very least. If you enjoy questing...do it all as the skill point quest rewards and shards prove to be beneficial later on.

if you are bored about quests ...still cracked wood cave best way to finish asap your char. buy 18exp potions just for be sure( u will make back the money while farming np), check a decent campaign, each faction farms a different cyrodiil ,go inside the cave with a friend and farm there for 800++kexp/h . v1 to v16 in less than 15hours,done 1 week ago with my cat, alone, with a friend account afk and it was over 700kexp/h. all depend about your friendmate&spec. have fun

Veteran Rank Updates
The maximum attainable Veteran Rank has been increased to VR16. In addition, we’ve made some adjustments so you can progress through Veteran Ranks more rapidly:

• 15% decrease in the amount of XP it takes to gain a Veteran Rank
• 100% more XP for all public dungeons
• 50% more XP for all Veteran Rank quests
• 20% more XP in Craglorn
