Sithis take you Merric.

Don't you just freaking hate it when you're forced to work together with people who you don't like at all. All I can do after Merric insults my entire race is spit in his face and help him anyway... I wish you'd have more options.

Edit: Fighters guild quest line spoilers
Come to think of it, it's kind of weird that he apparently doesn't trust the Beast races, but he also has a hard time believing Sees-All-Colours actually murdered Jofnir

That's one of the things I really wish they'd spent more time on: actually tailoring the conversations a bit more towards the PC's race. In this example, if you were an Argonian or Khajiit, he'd just say something like "Present company excluded, of course" or something of the sort. Also, just more conversation options to be able to RP the PC's general attitude a bit more would be nice. I hate that my devil-may-care khajiit is constantly forced to spout out formal pleasantries and snap-to "Yessir, right away sir!" sort of dialogue. (I have to imagine her saying it sarcastically) They need to take a page from Bioware who really knows how to let you play your PC's personality while maintaining the integrity of the game.

You must just love all of the quests in the Dark Elf plantations then...

It's kind of like when I walk into Elden Root and talk to the Alchemist, who greets me with: "Ugh...Wood Elves". At least there I have the choice of not buying anything from him, not that it matters at all.

Yea the racism is indeed strong in ESO. Personal favourite so far was finding a book about Orcs titled "The Pig Children".

I agree with the other point above about the game being more tailored to the players race. It's probably a boat load of work, but I did this quest in Shadowfen where I got to say "I am Saxhleel, I can help" or something along those lines, and I thought that was really cool.

I think it would be really nifty if Orcs got a special questline just for them in Orsinium, or Imperials in Imperial City. I imagine it would take a lot of extra work but if each new zone had an exclusive questline for each race that would be soooo cool!

    LOL

If you came to ESO after playing Skyrim, you're pretty much used to it.

Either way, NPCs don't REALLY hate you until you accidentally kill their chicken.

Well I couldn't disagree to that. But assuming that the average ESO player has 1 character

We need the introduction of a 10th bird-like race. Then we can explain it by saying the chicken are hallowed forefathers or something.

Calling an Orc pig face is not racism, it's just stating the obvious fact...

I remember when I was leveling my Argonian Templar in Stonefalls. There was this little area destroyed by a volcanic eruption, and the Argonians there were making medical supplies and such that helped the Dark Elves whos lives were on the line. The Dark Elves refused to accept anything from the hands of a lizard, yet when I came....*poof*! Like magic, they are willing to accept it!

"This isn't from one of the Argonians, is it?". Something like that they'd sometimes say.

    Really breaks the immersion.

i have always thought this. A specific response to me as a Saxhleel has always been desired. I like to represent our marsh kin and look forward to every character recognizing me as one.
Dunmer Disliking us is Nothing, Many are jealous of the strong, swift, smart, creative and durable. We need to focus more on developing ourselves instead of being concerned about those that dislike us.
As part of the An-Xileel, we Shall develop ourselves and establish a secure community of self sufficient Saxhleel. We will defend our borders from offenders and mercilessly protect our Kin.
From the Nothingness of Sithis, to the connective-ness of all from the Hist, We are unique. We must no longer dislike those that dislike us and simply disregard them while giving growing life attention to those like us and those that like us.

When the river carried me to Mourn hold, two scale-brothers were grieving over her hatch ling. Only the life of the former slave masters spawn ling was.

I tried to stay moist and avoid the injustice of vengeance for the Pacts sake. The fact that the elf wanted to go back to the former farming ways after the pact was done dried my scales.

I now take care of my egg brothers first, the pact comes later. Sithis takes all who do not adapt.
    For the shadowscales!
