question about linking accounts/profiles on ps4

i have an account on ps4 with my characters. can i link to a different ps4 account n play them there . and later say in a few day go back to the first profile and still have my characters?
or once linked to a new profile is it locked to that and so your old profile wont be able to play them again?

Would sighning into your account on the different system not work ?
Warframe was like that.

i dont have access to the profile its on atm so can i link to another account for lets say a week then go back to my origial profile and still have all my characters? is linking irreversible ?

I don't understand yopur question, if you use the same account on different ps4 system you will keep your character.
You can't access your character from a different account
