The video looked like a fun clip but you weren't really ever pressed, it's almost as if you were a ghost to them.
If I can offer some constructive criticism.
You're often holding block when it doesn't appear you're being attacked and even when you are being attacked it is far better to let your damage shields do the tanking and save your blocks for pretty much only meteor (and on my S&B build I prefer to use defensive posture for that). If you had been targetted you'd be unable to break free for most of that fight due to this.
I don't quite understand the use of the willpower sword + shield. Sure the extra 2437 magicka is nice but you lose 12% Spell Penetration (and 18% Spell Resistance) by DPSing on a Sword and shield bar. (Assuming Sharpened Sword @6% versus Nirnhoned Staff at 18 and since there are no other decent magicka neck/rings at V16 (Unless you somehow got your hands on a V16 Archmage neck!) you're losing quite a bit of DPS from this and you lose the added benefit of being able to light attack etc to regen magicka/keep ultimate ticking and break reflects on the same bar as your damage bar.
Endless Fury. I'm a big mages wrath fan. Especially in the low damage of 2.1, if you're going to use wrath spam to proc frags, you may as well get the bonus AoE of mage's wrath as this will benefit you on every explosion proc, not just kills like Endless fury. When you're always zerg busting as us 1vXers are often doing, the bonus AoE is great on a dying target.
Other than that, your magicka is freaking insane! I'm as max magicka as I can be without breaking some great set bonuses and I'm not even at 40K yet. Man those hardened wards have to be insane.

✭They looked like a bunch of PvE'ers. I don't mean to discredit your encounter, but I feel this is a very rare thing to see. Most of the groups I find down there CC lock me and burst through my shields/perma root me until I am dead.
This afternoon I tried to blood port back to base (I had zero stones) by bolting into this raid of EP on Molag Bol. I started hard casting frags at the healers in the back and one by one they died. Then I said "ah hell" and flew into the raid with dawnbreaker and pretty much killed the entire group after that. I call that lucky. Sometimes I see these 1vX videos and I feel like DC are the little brother of the 3 factions because I am always VERY pressed to find any X action that doesn't result in me getting steamrolled by 10+ people. The bad zergs (People standing around doing nothing pretty much) always seem to be DC (I know they are EP in your vid).Edited by Makkir on October 6, 2015 10:31PM0 -

I was thinking the same thing the entire time. The PvE mobs looked more dangerous than the players.Unsubbed and no longer playing, but still checking the Alliance War forum for the lulz.

What are you talking about? She had average magicka and high stamina/health for a magicka sorc. It turns out shes a dark elf with purple food and 5L1M1H. She didnt prove us (myself, cinnamon, act, and makir) wrong, lol, we speculated it was CP, purple food and Warhorn until she finally answerd our questions. It was also a thread she hijacked from Act btw. Nice try though.
