Last night in game I experienced either a bug or a nice new feature. Generally I pickpocket/steal everything that I can - it's how I'm R/P'ing my main. However last night I was able to pickpocket very quickly. Generally you find your "mark" and you close in on them and then wait for the "ding" so that you have a better chance at pickpocketing. What was different this time was after I stole my first item it quickly went to "90%" instead of "suspicious". I pressed "E" again thinking that was weird and it stole another item but again it went right to "80%" instead of "suspicious" again. I again stole another item and the screen was then reporting that the target was "empty". I checked my inventory and confirmed that I stolen 3 items.
I went to my next target, waited for the "ding" and stolen 3 items by quickly pressing "E" again with no "suspicious waiting period". Then again to the next target. This seemed to have for almost a dozens targets before the marks became "suspicious" again. Returning back to normal the targets then started becoming "suspicious" again and I had to wait in between pickpocketing them again.

My question is - is this a bug that I experienced or is this a nice preview feature of things yet to come?

Sounds like you found a nice bug :)

When your skill gets high enough that means you can quickly double steal from easy targets with basically no risk (they go from 100/100 to 95/100 at max pickpocketing skill)

This would actually be a cool feature that you could invest points in. 1/2 gives a 50% chance at not becoming suspicious and 2/2 would make it 100% chance. Although it would still drop the chances by the standard 10% so those medium/hard targets are always a risk.
