Been trying lots of builds to make heavy armor work for my sorc in 2.0. Behold the trololol fruits of my labor.

Errrm.... nice video and all but.... What is the point of heavy armor if you are going to rely on Wards for protection and heals?

You are still constantly covered by one of Hardened Ward, Harness Magicka and Healing Ward, so I fail to see what heavy armor brings to the build, besides trolling?

Also I love how at 0:33 you get up from an Invasion knockdown, only to get a Crystal Frag knockdown at 0:35 with no CC immunity given in-between.

Any ideas why that still happens @ZOS_RichLambert? I would love to know.

Exactly that.. I am trying also heavy armor magicka sorc (SB + resto) - not using sorc shield or anulment at all, heavy armor combo with SB gives insane protection.. I have almost 30k spell resist and 25k armor with 5 heavy armor pieces only.. And 3.1k spell dmg buffed with 1.8k magicka regen, with such setup I still am able to esly nuke ppls.. And I just laugh when i see that shielbreaker user starts to light attack me

Do the PvP heavy vendor bags drop vr16 elf bane now?

@ItsRejectz only from pvp bags (e-mails rewards), bags from vendors will give u vr14 only, for now at least.. Check guild stores, u can buy bad traits for really low money, at least for testing is worth

How is your cost reduction? Without a lot of cp in magician or some cost reduction glyphs, that's worse sustain than in 1.5.

Might want to give that setup a shot for your DK. Trying something similar. You still really can't kill anything that doesn't voluntarily stay within melee range, but you can take a lot of punishment. With practice and patience, you might be able to replicate what we were in 1.6, which of course, isn't exactly a worthy goal but it is better than being a dedicated crafter.

I will, of course, try.

Something like 4 Eyes of Mara / 5 Magnus (or Seducer) may be slightly more efficient (5H, 2L).

How is your cost reduction? Without a lot of cp in magician or some cost reduction glyphs, that's worse sustain than in 1.5.

I have 62 CPs in magician which gives me 12% cost reduction and using one cost reduction glyph and 1 piece of light armor. Its working quite well for me.
