Insane amount of lag during Cadwell's gold

I decided to start grinding my vets for some CPs, but the lag is absolutely crazy. It's like ESO has no mechanism of recovery when you get a ping spike - it just dies in the arse. Always happens during a fight for some stupid reason. I could be walking around for 20 minutes and it's fine, but you come across 2 or more enemies and all hell breaks lose in terms of lag. Before you ask, I'm on a fibre optic connection and it's working perfectly. The only thing that's running like a snail is ESO.
I've just about had enough. This is extremely infuriating.

✭✭✭Your connection might be fine. My first question is your location in relation to the server location.
People ALWAYS run speed tests with a server two miles away. "My connection is boss!!"
Try 200 miles, 400 miles or more away next time. Results will be quite different.
