I think Agony has real potential. Partly because no one knows what it is. They do one of three things. Try to ride it out. CC break immediately, which has given me the breathing room to drop their buddy, and sapped their stam. In IC wonder if a mob had CCED em and added into the fight, creating confusion.

The instant cast time is what made this use able and quite strong in 1vX play.

I always wondered if Agony was worth a try. As a Stamina bow user I'm always looking for skills that give me breathing room.

Agony provides more than breathing room. When kiting it gives you a hard CC every 5 seconds so you can refresh buffs while draining stam.

Best example at 02:40 seconds where Im marked and use it Twice to reset the fight and start with the target down 2 CC breaks already.

I used Prolonged Agony in PvE a lot in the early days and it's a great skill (I've been trying other things since though).

You do need to be sure that any DOTs have cleared on the target before casting it though as any damage instantly breaks it.

Great point. I Don't have any DoTs on my bar at all so it's actually nice to open with as it ticks for around 3k on a target once i go in on em and not before. Adds a little bit to the DPS as well as a huge spike in 1v2 and 1v3 ability.
