Where to find Receipe Ingredient

When you learn a new receipe, is there anyway to read it and know what you need to do that receipe? I'm on PS4 and I had a crafting wrist for food that need particular ingredient and I had to search over internet to find what I need. Would be great to be able to read that receipe and know what ingredient you need to craft it.

The easiest way is probably just to find a cooking fire, start cooking and go through your list. If the recipe is in your list you can easily see what it needs and if you have the materials.

ok but if I want to craft a sip of magicka? Any idea where I can find the receipe? What kind of material I need etc

To make a certain level food/drink, you first gotta find the recipe. After that, you will see what ingredients you will need so then you can farm them. Specific places to find ingredients will vary on what you want to make

Ah, you are talking alchemy. Google it!

I usually unlock all the traits on all the ingredients so when you scroll through them on the craft screen you can see them.

But until then, google or download an app that tells you which ingredients you can use.

Also with all the Alchemy Mats you can 'use' a mat to discover the first effect each mat does. Each mat does 4 effects and you can 'learn' the other 3 by discovery. If you combine two mats that have the same effect, you will 'learn' that effect on both mats.

Alchemy materials are called Reagents which can be found in the wilds of Tamriel. All are plants which can be harvested. Flowers and Mushrooms are the bulk of the Reagents which are used to produce Alchemical Potions.

The other materiel used in alchemy is water in varying gradations of purity which accounts for the varying strengths of the potions which can be produced.

Yep I downloaded ESO Database on iOS. Really usefull
