Request: option to disable home campaign notices when not in cyrodiil

Oh man, I'd love an option to disable them even in Cyrodiil - I mean I'm not always in my home campaign, and even when I am it doesn't always mean that I care about the notifications. But yeah, I especially want to be able to disable them when I'm in PVE zones.

There's an option for it. Go to Settings > Social > Switch Leaderboard Notifications from ON to OFF.

This is actually a really good idea considering they have no impact on PVE any longer and nobody cares unless they are in Cyrodiil or maybe IC.

That setting is Leaderboard Notifications, not Campaign Notifications. There is currently no way to turn off Campaign Notifications. (If you're on PC, there's No, thank you which can turn them off when not in Cyrodiil.)

The leader board notifications toggle doesn't stay off no matter how many times I have set it. I did put in a ticket on it to no avail.

They are there to let you know you aren't helping the campaign you have set. lol.

yeah, it seems it switches itself on again whenever you change zones

yes I use this one on console and for other modable games I have the PC version. This game also uses WAY too much memory to be worth it on the computer as I still need to use it for other stuff unlike some people out there right

I agree, though, we either need a way to suppress these messages or, alternatively, a way to leave a campaign -- for those of us who foolishly set a home campaign on a Level 10 character, have no plans to do any PvP for a long, long time, and are constantly being hounded by updates.

I understand the importance of the message, but I don't need a play-by-play of who dropped/picked up the football Elder Scroll.

Yeah. I went to Cyrodiil ONCE to check it out. I'm not going back, so I don't care what goes on over there. I'm just PvE. And I'm getting these messages and I don't know how to leave the campaign to unassociate myself from Cyrodiil. ..

I don't understand what could possibly be a good enough reason for us not to have that option.

I couldn't care less what happens in PvP and I can not be alone in that. I wouldn't mind if the text and sound weren't so intrusive I suppose, but it annoys me when it cuts right through in-world conversations like the meeting on Stirk between the 3 leaders.

Does ZOS want me to go PvP that bad..? I thought they were pretty proud on the solo gameplay part too? They should be. No reason to constantly remind me of a different part of the game if I don't want to.

I'm sick of them too. It's one of those things you need like a head in the hole.
Seriously it does annoy me getting this irrelevant information keep flashing across the screen. Even in PvP I've never found this info useful, so why would I in PvE.
An option to turn off these messages would be ideal.

I would get behind at least having them disabled when you aren't in Cyrodiil. Makes no sense to get those messages when you're not in Campaigns.

Unless you are in the campaign it pertains to there is probably zero reason to see the message unless you are a serious pvper that has to know everything going on but even then that seems overboard to need to see the messages all the time.

I thought this was the case too but for whatever reason, this doesn't seem to work on XboxOne.
You can toggle it but i still see the notifications....It no longer populates in notifications but it still pops up on my screen and thats the one i want off.

@NewBlacksmurf that option is only for your the "your guildmate blank has completed X trial with blank points" notifications...and it resets to enable every time you zone...
