✭✭I think I read somewhere that they were considered as DoTs ingame (which is, of course, an aberration).
Best way to test it out is to use Surge (morphed or not) since it heals on crits, but not on DoTs. Didn't run a test myself.PC EU - Zahraji of the Void, aka "Kitty", the fluffiest salmon genocider in town.

✭✭Both are not removed by cloaking, so that ability does not consider them dots. I would consider them more like delayed damage then dots. Since the game is not always consistent with cause and effect, I can't for sure comment on Nerien'eth.0 -

✭✭Can't comment on det, but surge DOES see curse as a DoT and doesn't proc the surge heal... which is pretty stoopid... its not damaging over time, its a single damage spell with a timer.
So it sounds like different skills see them in different ways... which is odd.

quickblade418✭✭✭YEs both are considered DOTs which is a joke. they are a one time damage not a damage over time ie : caltrops.
They should either remove them from DOTs category or make them unblockable since no DOTs are blockable in the game : anyone ever seen someone block a burning effect ?NA PC
