Its usually younger players who think that their threats of leaving will force the developers to notice them and fix whatever problem they think they have. You can see it in action all the time on the Play store, or anywhere you can get games and rate them. "I won't give you 5 stars until you fix X issue!!!" They really think that this will work.

My theory is that people that made quit threads at some point are the only people left playing the game on PC. The rest just quit.

Its amazing how many people do that.

My old guild quit pretty much as a group (90%) to go play another game. They didnt see the need to post a rage quit message. They just posted a sad message explaining their reasons on the guild website and offered to start a new guild in a different game.

Same here no rage quitters but some did make some rants on reddit. then poof off they went. Spent the hell out of the gold they left me.

Let's not forget that a lot of people only started playing this game at launch as a fill-in before ArcheAge and Wildstar. Most of them have probably returned from those games by now.

I said in another post I will leave this game when Fallout 4 and StarCraft 2 games are released on November 10 this year. Most probably will only log in to get my hirelings emails, upgrade my horses and doing some craft writs. That may take me one hour or two. After it, will go play those other games. Also, not planning to sub again until there are 3 important DLC (apart from IC). If ZOS want my money, then give me a good game I can be happy to be with. Been supporting them since start but after that long time I think they should now earn it.

If this is what you do at work , you need to work harder. From a lot of the posts made here there doesn't really seem to be much "rage quitting" as it is mostly people fed up at being ignored. Or at least the perception of it. Who can blame them?

Yeah, similar to me. I plan to move onto something else when TW3 content hits and FO4. Nothing really terribly bad to say about the game, but i am beginning to feel burnt out on it. Really should learn to play other games at the same time, however, I've never managed to concentrate on more than one game at a time in all my years of playing games other than SNES games. In fact, I rarely return to most games because I've usually sickened myself. Starting to feel it on ESO. No idea how people can spend years playing the same game and little else.

I'm playing it too much as well. That's indeed 'dangerous'.

Some day you been there, done that and bought the T-shirt. You're ready with the game. Better is to take some distance before you're bored

For me it's a bit sad (oh well) ESO was released.

1 week before I bought a PlaySeat, a Thrustmaster T300 RS with shifter and 3-pedal set. And most of the PS4 race games.

I didn't play with it once. But I think I'll take some short 'holiday' soon. Want to play with the wheel and it would keep me hungry for ESO.

I've seen so many leaving at least the forums during the last 1,5 years (I don't know about the game itself) without announcing it in a thread. I think these are the ones who really mean it..

Have played both those games left Archeage for here. Left wildstar for a fill in game before realizing Archeage that I had been waiting for was out. Was sadly disappointed in both of them and while yes this game has it's annoyances I find remarkably better then those other two

Wildstar just wasn't my thing. Archeage however, oh boy. To this day I still tell friends that ask, that AA is the most terribly mismanaged, blatant p2w cash grab on the market today. A buddy that still plays told me a bunch of the servers are merging due to low pop and that they somehow screwed up the land rush again. According to him a community manager got on a thread where people were talking about it and in a round about way said, "lol we didn't tell you when this was happening and you didn't get any land, sorry."

I wouldn't pay attention to those numbers.

If people care enough to post that they have had it that means that they care about the game I would think.

My concern would be the silent ones who get bored, po'ed or frustrated by the ever increasing bugs and "fixes" and just leave.

When you stop caring you stop posting. Lose me as a customer and I will quietly move on and forget about giving more of my money to you.

Game companies don't worry about the 10 year old's that rage quit, they worry about the silent masses that just... move on.

I quit the game because the devs suck at listening to the 'not 10 year Olds'.

And because they ruined nonvet pvp and just make it difficult for me to enjoy pvp. But it's whatever. Moving on with my life.
