Create additional grinding content, and continue to develop the crown store.
I personally think ES-series is Bethesda's baby and they love to watch how it grows. Its not about popularity or money, well of course its but not so much as people thikn. How would they just forget 20+ year of ES history in their company.

They don't. ZOS however does, as they handled lore pretty poorly at release. The IC dlc has them backpedaling on some of it though.
I believe that ZOS has the best of intentions, but never forget that this is a business and the ultimate mission of any business is to make money for its investors. To achieve this a business has to attract talented employees, pay salaries and benefits, cover overhead... and ...oh yeah... have something to sell. In our case it is ESOTU. All of this costs $$$$$$, and a lot of it.

I read a lot of threads packed full of whining about CP, Crown Store items, benefits of subscription, content, etc. and I wonder if those people complaining realize how the bills get paid. Like it or not, new motifs and recipes are created and made intentionally difficult to develop (e.g. Glass, Psyjic Ambrosia, exotic new motifs, et. al.) so that people will buy them in the crown store. Doing so pays salaries and light bills. People should stop complaining by calling it P2W and realize that without it there will be no ESO.
I will agree that ZOS appears a bit rudderless lately (at least to me) and if I were King of ZOS i would be ignoring all the drama around CP's and "nerf this, nerf that" and instead invest the resources in fixing the performance issues. The longer the problems like lag, loading screens and crashes continue, the more customer will find other games to play.

But I digress. I suppose I mean to say that if one likes the game then they should support it through crown store purchases and subscriptions (clearly I do not think F2P was a wise move). The only possible way that this game can improve and thrive is if Zenimax improves and thrives, and that takes revenue. Support your local Crown Store!
Sorry folks.... That's the way the world works. Only happiness is free. Everything else costs money.
I hear rumers zinging around the forums that you'll be able to buy gear from the crown store!
Worse decision they made was the megaserver. I bet if they would of went with like 3 or 4 realms instead things would be a lot better.

That.... has nothing to do with it. You can have multiple servers and still have instancing and "shards", "channels", "phases" or whatever you want to call them. Other games have done this. You don't need to be limited to a single server to have these features.UltimaJoe777 wrote: »The megaserver allows for many different instances which is what seperates people when quest progress makes an area different for one than another. Without the megaserver this would not be possible.

I guess that doesn't answer your question, but that is what they are going to do.

Implement as much grind as possible, in order to generate as much inconvenience as possible, so that they can maximise profits by selling "convenience " to players.
