Cyrodiil delve bosses

PS4 - I know this has been mentioned on reddit as well as here, but the spawn times on many of the delve bosses in Cyrodiil is over an hour in some cases. I spent about 3 hours in one last night going around the loop killing everything until the last boss spawned. There were a total of 3 bosses in this particular delve and I knocked out the first two in the first loop around. Does anyone know if this has been officially addressed and if so, it this intended or a bug?

If it is indeed intended it's not a huge deal is just like to know if there is something I should be doing to trigger this spawn, or if it is just totally random. I am used to camping bosses from my Final Fantasy 11 days so bring it on ( 6+ hours for some of the more desirable bosses for a chance to claim the mob. Not a certainty, but a chance! )

This has been addressed many many times. @ZOS doesn't want to change it as they want us to run around and re-do delves all the time.

That's fine as long as they officially said it. Anyone have a link to where they addressed it? I just want to research triggers or if it's random

The blame falls on RNG. The boss spawns are completely random, and it has always been this way. The boss might spawn in the first 15 minutes or it could be 15 hours. It sucks if RNG is working against you.

Actually there is something you can do :

Those bosses spawn ONE AT A TIME (random order, the same one can spawn several times in a row).
If you sit at boss A and it's boss B that's up, boss A will not spawn as long as boss B hasn't been killed.
Following this logic, you can walk from one boss location to the next in an organized manner and have them all.
Doing this, I've never spent more than one hour in a delve before having all bosses cleared.

While it is true than respawn systems are longer there than in PvE territory (for the obvious reason to encourage PvP risks in delves), ZOS implementing insane timers in those delves to make us grind them over and over is a urban legend.

Yea I thought it was something like this, that's why I went in circles clearing the delve and each time I only got the first two bosses. You must just be lucky if you've cleared all delves in an hour or less

Pothole cavern in the south-east-ish? (square loop through a big room?).

Which boss is are you missing? The middle one took forever for me on one of my toons. But when I went there one time with my guild, he was the first one up.

Newt Cave gave me a headache the other day. Two bosses, a bat and a troll. You could kill the bat over and over, but the troll just wouldn't spawn. Forty five minutes of unnecessary bat murder. Their blood is on your hands, ZoS.

Yep that's the one! Also newt cave. You and the poster below are mind readers I think..

The boss I had the most trouble with in pothole caverns was the first one if you make a right at the entrance and go counter-clockwise. Strange that the middle boss in the big room was your tough one.. RNG at its finest!

I was just in there last night. I killed the bat immediately and gave up on the troll as it was getting a bit late. I'll try him again tonight. What sucks about newt cave is that you can't easily farm trolls so the XP and loot is slow while you're waiting on the spawns

I know. So frustrating when you're trying to be efficient. I ran into a tank who was trying to get the damn troll boss, slowly wading his way through the mobs, and he seemed pretty happy to see me (dps).

Yeah, that one's a pain in the arse. A while back I was with a group of guildies doing PVE stuff in Cyrodiil, and we spent about 3 hours in Pothole Caverns trying to get all the bosses. We just kept circling through, over and over and over and over. I think we had killed the other 2 bosses at least 20 times each by the time the 3rd one finally spawned - and by that time our group that had started out as about 10 people had dwindled to 3 or 4, as it was getting late and people wanted to log off and go to sleep.
