I can attest to that...L2p. Nb melt with my sorc

They had to know exactly what would happen and how people would react, especially with PvE'ers forced into it.
It really is trash most of the time but it's new so I put up with it.
Basically most people are there to gather stones and trophies first, and second to engage in PvP.
People after stones don't generally look for battles as they know what losing the fight means.
IC is really just a ugly looking farming zone that has annoying penalties that make the farming even more boring than usual.

snuck into IC with my nightblde, and got my face melted off by a lone sorc several times without ever noticably getting through their shields...
...also got wrecked by blows from several wandering dragonknights, who must have laughed at my puny efforts to stab them as they dragon-blooded all the damage away and knocked me around...
...and lightspear-jabbed into trouble by a templar and then finished off with a jesus beam, while they healed all the hurt I did...
...oh, and done in by a fellow nightblade too, though that was a much closer fight...
So I'd say, in the end, it just depends on how good your opponent is, not what class they use.
Maybe I really ought to slot cloak all the time and run away more...
IC has always been advertised as gankfest, back from when we first heard about he concept last year... I for one knew exactly what I was getting into when I bought the DLC! Didn't everyone?Korah_Eaglecry wrote: »If you go back and watch one of the ESO Lives, about 4 weeks before its launch. They not only knew it was going to happen, they were counting on it.
You are not alone. Players have been saying from day 1 of the Imperial City, those stones are rare to come by and if you're killed by another player the 80% you lose as a result of being killed by another player is beyond harsh.

OP, I know how you feel not being able to solo anymore, I can handle 2 but when I kill 1 and have 1 left and a 3rd comes in with another Ambush, you're toast. I wouldn't bother mate unless you have a large group, in IC or not. PvP is dead, all about the zergs and AvA now.
i allways like when i get ganked by nbs, only class i can kill easy with my DK
The most annoying thing about NB's with this iteration of ESO is the perma-stealth. NB's no longer perma-roll, they just perma-stealth and run. We had a group of 4 kill a solo NB 8-10 times or more over the weekend (he started all the fights), and he didnt quit until he killed all of us once. He didnt do this by out playing us or being more skilled, mind you we were on guard after his first death, he waited 30 or so minutes after his last death, after we moved 2 districts just to avoid the bother of him, until we got in a bad situation and pulled a boss (on accident due to a dumba** in the group) and when most of us were already close to death and killed us. He did nothing to deserve or earn the stones he received, we more than proved we could kill him, with ease and all of us at least once 1v1, and he got 80% of our collective stones and we never saw him again. THIS is what IC is all about. It's not a PvP area like most and ZOS like to claim, its a PvE area with PvP annoyance.
What do people do when in the arena district? They go to the arena in the middle and continuously AoE the door to keep any apposing faction out, not because they are afraid they will loose their stones, its because they want to down the bosses and not have to deal with PvP while doing so. When you go into IC you see nothing but solo or small group PvE farmers, Zerg PvE farmers or solo gankers (mostly NB's). You very rarely see a Zerg of people strictly wanting to do PvP, the ONLY reason people Zerg in IC is because they dont want want to lose their TV stones due to the cost of mats to craft V16 gear. Remove the loss of TV stones and you remove the need/want to Zerg. Well other than the fact the banner men and the Molag Bal event requiring a small Zerg to down.

You use the term 'Zerg' far too loosely. QQ..QQ...QQ

Very very very very few people should be able to survive 1v3 or 1v4, why do people just expect to win when they're outnumbered? I don't get that logic.

Why not? If you had the skill and a more balanced patch?

If you have the skill you could do it now. I don't know why everything thinks they have the skill to win outnumbered fights.
