IC IS a good update

Guys, come on, IC is a cool update...it's just overwhelmed with monsters. And the monsters are what get away from players being able to do anything.

I feel like i have a hard time going through IC without stressing out about getting hit by monsters litterally, the only way I maneuvered through the sewers is on my NB spamming invisibility wheb I got near a monster that would see me, if I had my sorc I'd be reviving...a lot...

Some areas are fine but for the most part the are all too dense with mobs

So why don't we all, instead of complain about IC, why don't we just request to lower the mob density. ..

Or am I the only one that feels this way...
Please vote in the console text chat thread so ZoS can see how many people want text chat

...and dueling in the dueling thread but personally I want text chat first...

    perhaps at least on the non vet servers it should be reduced a bit as it is that much harder to find help for stuff, plus the lack of veterans...

    I think a good solution would be to pick one of the districts and drastically reduce the mob density, to allow for easier PvP, and to encourage battles/dueling. Just one, though. It's still supposed to be a city overrun with daedra and undead, right?

    I agree with this. I have this theory that perhaps an increase in density, along with a few more frequent pathers, just might deter the inclination of some to constantly zerg and aoe spam since they would pull too many mobs in the process.... course that could be totally off base but I certainly hope they do not reduce it, that would be just another nerf it does not need.

    I think District Control would achieve this. Your alliance takes control of a district, and that would affect the number of mobs in the district. For some districts, "Daedric Control" would have higher mobs, and for others, "Alliance Control" would have higher mobs.

    Take the self-designated "PvP district" (Memorial) as an example. Say DC takes control of it, and this reduces mob numbers in the district to 67%. Control lasts for 1 hour before resetting; after 50 minutes of DC control, mob density goes to 150% as the district is reclaimed by the Daedra, and once they win control back, mob numbers return to standard. The timer would reset if another alliance took control before the Daedra reclaimed the district.

    I dont think less mobs is necessary. i haven't met a group of mobs i cant solo within reason. but it leaves you weakend and prey for ganker's. Quite a nice new dynamic of balancing ones abilities to pvp and also to tackle groups in a way that doesnt leave you short stacked when it counts.

    but when it works and the guy that tried to 1v1 you after you fought the hoard regrets his decision because you aren't low on resources, oh the happy happy feels.

    also im running without a decent gap closer/escape/speed boost so im glad of high mob density. If the enemy tries to run with all the mobs they likely get killed, just wish i got a cut of the stones instead of NPC suicide preventing me earning some stones. but that cuts both ways so cant complain too much

    Ive no problems to move without getting attacked. Also more monsters, means less ganking.

    That's a succinct way of putting it :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

    The way I see it is a bit like this:
    • IC is a PvP-enabled zone with PvE quests - this is bad for PvE players
    • IC is full of PvE content, but no PvP objectives - this is bad for PvP players
    Summary - IC is mixed PvE and PvP, but mixed in a way that doesn't really work. This is bad.

    Without changing the baseline fact that it is mixed PvE and PvP, what can be done?

    Solution - Add PvP objectives to keep PvP players involved with each other, which reduces the TV ganking to a more manageable level. This should keep the PvP players happy, as they will still be getting TV stones and AP from their opponents in the PvP objectives, as well as a direct reward from the objectives. This should also keep the PvE players happy, as the PvP players would be less inclined to gank them.

    i love IC...BUT

    1: VR 16 CRAFTING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!! CANT GET 150 INGOTS PER ITEM!!

    2: they increased changing home campaign from 15k ap to 150k ap -_- , getting 15k alone is hell to me

    3: Cant get groups in consoles without mic
    Lightning guild is recruiting active players at any level & skill ( PS4 , EU)

    If you call motifs barely in the game a few weeks being put in the crown store for more expensive than the DLC "good"..

    Or a broken LFG Tool for months and months...

    Or constant crashes, fps problems and crazy long loading screens...

    Or bugged, broken, exploitable skills for months at a time....

    Or killed before loading screen, nerfing all old stuff before making new stuff a huge grind, increasing VR levels when they said they were removing them....or a DLC that encourages griefers, gankers, spawn campers, exploiters and loading screen killers...

    Or...all the things they have been ignoring for months and probably will never get fixed...

    Then sure....it's a ******** awesome DLC....

    IC was great for the first week then i just got bored really fast, the pvp aspect is poor.

    It has killed cyrodiil.

    The only downside for me is Cyro has died a death, the incentives there are too weak and need a rethink.

    I love the rest, I have had personal highs and personal lows. My only real frustration is loading into or from the sewers leaves you too vulnerable, especially with the silly long load screens, being killed before the game loads is just crap.

    The mobsI have had fun with as with the PVP and all the nasty, sneaky tricks that goes with it.

    The bugs inside the DLC is not the dlc...

    They are being fixed so the DLC can't be played...

    LFG Tool was broken before IC btw

    I'm not talking about the problems, they are being worked and fixed on, it's what the DLC is supposed to run like that's cool

    It has no real pvp content other than you can attack other players... Something hat has been done by WoW over 10 years ago, in WoW, it's just another zone, in eso it's considered a pvp update, lol.

    IC is nothing more than a 2,500 crown grind spot that ruined the population of Cyrodiil
