Is the NB Assasination Skill "Mirage" broken?

One of the effective NB skills that I used quite often for my NB was "Mirage", one of the morphs of Blur in the Assasination skill line. It did a nice job of damage mitigation, giving you a 20% dodge chance for 20 seconds, along with a small armor buff with Minor Resolve, and they added Minor Ward with the IC update giving you a bit of Spell Resistance. However, in doing so, I believe they broke Major Evasion, which is the main use for the skill in the first place. Prior to 2.1 you could easily see when the dodge kicked in because you would notice your character shuffling along the ground a couple of feet when the dodge kicked in. After the 2.1 update, I starting noticing the abscence of this animation so thought I had better do some checking. Now when I pop Mirage on my skill bar and look at my character stats, it shows Mirage, Minor Resolve, and Minor Ward. No listing for Major Evasion shows up at all. Also when running the AUI combat messages, I see nothing on the listing that indicates that Major Evasion was used. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this and could do some checking themselves. Also if you have un-morphed "Blur", or other morph "DoubleTake", perhaps you can check if Major Evasion is actually working in this skill.

No other NB's use Mirage besides myself? I was hoping for a bit more response so that we could confirm whether or not this skill is borked. For a stamina based Nightblade, we need all the help we can get :)

I need another skill point for my Nightblade, but if I can get that I'll go ahead and take the Medium Armor skill "Evasion", which is suppose to grant "Major Evasion" as well. Then I'll do some comparisons and check the combat logs, character screens, etc.

i will test it right now
    give me some time

I got rid of this ability long time ago because it also influenced Stamina and Magicka recovery (I do not mean the dodged heals of Sap Essence, that was "always" the case also it was long time commented by ZOS as something to look into)

What happens is that after some fights your Magicka and Stamina pool do not recover anymore to 100% (also out of combat)

Chance means luck, and luck means RNG. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but I wouldn't call anything related to Evasion buffs "broken" in any way.

Personally I do notice the Major Evasion buff working at times but it is only 20% after all.

Well I did some testing just now in IC mainly against Zero Legion Dreadnaughts (and some stupid gankers interrupting haha)

I did run approx 200 hits for both.
First Blur: I saw with FTC approx 20% if not more dodges, nicely visible in FTC with this blue violet text.
Then I morphed to Mirage: I saw again with FTC approx 20% dodges.
In both morphs, in the CLS log, I did not see mentioned that evasion was active. But it was :)

So that to the issue raised (also I have not tested it against a variety of attacks, and I can therefore not exclude that the dodge does not work against other attacks)

The issue I brought myself: the not full recovery of the Mag & Stam pool also after the combat.
    With FTC something strange happened:
directly after the combat the pool values were below 100%. Say for the sake of explaining 60%. Normally they recover with approx 5% per time period. Now they moved erratic upward like: 60%...75%...70%...85%...80%...100%...90%...95%...100%.
In original ESO bars, without the addons, the pools moved up steadily, but stop after a while at any value higher than it was, but substantial lower than 100%. It resetted when I moved back to home base. (also wayshrines).

I tested it, the dodge does work (although my luck is crap) and so does the animation however I never see the animation if I am preforming an action like using a move at the time. I think mirage is the major evasion it is just a different name to make it distinguishable from evasion and to apply the correct visuals.

I'm getting reduced damage whilst in use, it's been a permanent on my DW bar for ages.
Can't quantify sorry as on XBox, but I definitely seem to take far less damage with Blur than without...and I've tested this with set NPC's repeatedly that I farm each day.
    No animation any longer though.

OK guys, sorry for the false alarm, but it's better to be sure :) I did some more testing today on both "Mirage" and the medium armor skill "Evasion" by going to a cave populated by trolls and just had them slap me silly while popping both skills. Although the dodge animation is much more subtle now and is easy to miss since the 2.1 update. However, the combat log did show the dodge's in both skills. It is a bit strange that the "Evasion" skill does show the active buff "Major Evasion" whereas the Mirage version doesn''t. As long as it works that's all I care about :) Thanks for your help in making sure this skill was still useful.
