Sales within trading guilds have dropped significantly since IC

So I'm in 3 trading guilds and have noticed that since the release of IC and the changes to the guild store with regards to viewing item prices on console my sales have gone from a steady 5 to 10 a day to just 1 sale total since the release of IC, 10 days with 1 sale!

Is anyone else experiencing this or is it time to hang up my apron and tools?

It's not only the lack of being able to see the prices next to the item, there's also other issues. For example, yesterday I attempted to buy an item and it wouldn't let me. Kept saying something about "making too many searches" or something similar. The guild shops work most of the time but I have noticed a few annoying issues since the last patch dropped.

I only use them now when i need something specific such as mats or recipes. Until they are working as they were, I'll continue to only use them when i know what I want. Then there's the loading times between areas. No longer do i spend an hour going from area to area looking through the stores. It's a combination of a lot of niggles that's probably seen guilds take a nose dive.

It's normal. It's harder to discover the prices, people don't take the effort and buy less.

I don't hire a guild trader till the bug is fixed. Better to keep the gold in the pockets.

Well on consoles Xbox one anyway when you're searching for something to buy nothing shows the price unless you press a on it. It makes looking for a price of an item a headache and not want to bother looking threw the trader...

Given that the prices are no longer displayed, I don't search Guild Traders nearly as much as I use to. It's just to much of a hassle having to click into every item that I'm interested in.

(Ps4) The number one issue right now is the inability to see prices unless you click on the item. It has become more tedious and as a result less people are willing to stand around and browse. I advised my guild against bidding on a 2,000,000 mournhold trader until this is patched. They're just wasting money right now

Yeah, that does suck. I would never spend the time going through each item like that.

The PC market system seems to be working fine.

I am still selling but it goes in spurts and lulls. So I will sell 10 items in a day then nothing for 3 days then 5 in a day.

I am selling a lot more. But no one wants anything other than the stuff from IC Sewers, I have also seen the price on many items fall very sharply which I banked on. I sold the stuff I was getting and didn't buy anything until this week when the price of jewellery sets was a bit better - I still think I paid over the odds I am sure the prices will come down again, willpower rings dropped 10K in just the time I went round all the vendors.

People are just under cutting the prices as they started very inflated.

Hopefully this is being looked at, it's a lot of gold to waste on bids for traders if there aren't many sales being made.

Prior to this patch i sold two types of items:

End game PvE content offered desired BoE sets like skirmisher, or drough king. No one uses these now.

End game PvP: Ravenger, Shadow walker, ect.

Now the only end game things worth selling come from trophies, or TV stones, and since everyone is getting their own character geared up, theres no reason to check traders anymore unless you want mats for potions.

The prices on gold tempers have almost doubled on PC NA server. Everyone want to get to legendary! You should sell those.

Also i think people are overpricing items, which at launch were harder to obtain, but when you look at guild traders and they are still trying to sell xp potions for 10k, undaunted bastion sets for more and healer rings for 200k, you have to get realistic and see the prices are just naturally coming down.

Seeing sellers on PC report increases in sales leads me to believe it's the guild stores new selection option on console that is the issue, having to select each item in turn and open it in order to see the price makes it feel very clunky and not user friendly at all.

I dont even bother selling stuff on console, waste of time. I find what i need and vendor what i dont, the rest goes in guild bank or personnal bank. I will start selling stuff when we get a better way of buying/selling stuff.

There is no gear worth selling other then the jewelry set's. Most classes can get there new gear from tel var stones or craft them.

So many v14 set's are now worthless since there is no v16 version's. Any money made from pvp bags or trail's / dsa will not be made in IC. Shadowwalker and Morang Tong has gone down 75% in price on console.

Can't be bothered to be in a trading guild these days; too much pressure to sell. Was a gold vip member of one the largest trading guilds with a trader in rawl, went away for a few days and when I come back the Guild had changed ownership and I was just kicked despite having donated thousands. I could have messaged the new owner for an invite but I can't be arsed to make sure I sell so much per week to keep membership, which seems to be the norm now. I think trading guilds should be allowed a higher membership cap than 500. Either that or there needs to be more traders. Right now I'm just happy with the gold I can make from the game. I grind my own mats, gear and pots and only use a guild trader to buy the odd rune or upgrade mat.

Don't know what you're talking about, but I made 4.3 million selling things since IC update, and still selling the new raw mats and trophies.
