Trials: This was a critical part of the game. The devs set up leaderboards in the UI along with weekly rewards to promote this gameplay. These have been made obsolete with 2.1
Cyrodiil: This was a critical part of the game. The devs told us that the heart of ESO was the three faction battle in Cyrodiil, featuring siege warfare and massive battles. With open-access IC, this has also been made obsolete with 2.1
Many players feel that the idea of an immersive, Elder Scrolls experience, has been turned into a series of repeatable, endless grinds, designed to be so lengthy as to promote cash shop purchases.
