Just what... the... *** man. I'm seriously done with this game, I can't even get pass this mission on my alt.
I understand that the first beam resets but why do certain beams near the end of the emitters reset too? Like what.

✭✭✭You are not the first person to be bothered by this quest and I too have witnessed it first-hand. The issue is related to the beams animations not showing which will be fixed very soon in the next incremental patch. For the time being the trick is to look closely at the glow of the crystal. A nub is protruding from the glow that signifies the direction the beam is currently facing. The nub takes a few seconds to update after you rotate the crystal so it is easy to overshoot the rotation. If this was not your problem and the process itself is what got you then I don't know what to say because frankly every puzzle I have encountered in this game thus far has been super easy compared to titles like The Legend of Zelda.Guildmaster of Power With Numbers in PS4 NA Server's Aldmeri Dominion.
