Enjoyed my time here, however, it's time to say goodbye. I feel like I have reached my peak and I have enjoyed every bit of it. Unfortunately, found myself between a rock and a hard place unable to progress in game. Regular pug groups cannot complete any of the new dungeons, casual players are not striving to get "leet dps/gear" in order to get end game content. I don't know if it is just me as a tank, but a good majority of casual groups just can't cut it in the new dungeons. Tired of the Imperial City grind for average gear, exploits, bugged skill/game users. I'm not saying it's too hard and not to reward mediocrity, but give players the tools they need to inch closer to getting the big reward. Anyways, fine folks of Elder Scrolls, enjoy what you can and I'll see you in the next big MMO.

In before closing... I usually don't do that, but here I must admit that I feel for you and that my entire guild is being destroyed by the update. Yes we have fun in IC BUT we don't want to do ONLY that. And there's nothing else to do since older dungeons are... well... old and we're tired of them, and new dungeons are out of reach for most guild members. Thus nearly everyone quits, one after the next.

By the time Orsinium comes, the guild will have disappeared...

Do other people agree with these claims?
    • Regular pug groups cannot complete any of the new dungeons
    • casual players are not striving to get "leet dps/gear" in order to get end game content.
    • a good majority of casual groups just can't cut it in the new dungeons.
    • players aren't given the tools to inch closer to the next big reward
I consider myself a casual gamer, and I know I've given up on a lot of these things. I haven't even bothered with dungeons since IC dropped, I'm tired of chasing 'leet DPS/gear' because the goal posts are always moving, finding groups takes too long for the amount of time I have to play (whether it's pvp or dungeons), and it seems like unless you're one of these no-life / 'leet' players no one wants you in a group anyway. The game has devolved into a lot of drudgery.

If you are just focusing on casual PUGS and/or Zone chat PUGS yeah it is hit and miss at best unless you can heal.

Just cruise around IC for a while solo, or join a IC zerg or go back to PVE and maybe that will put your wind back in your sail.
There is always things to do and the VET dungeon loot is hit and miss at best anyway and not that much better if at all the store stuff.

I think the crafting stuff is super boring and I never got into that. PVE/PVP/Cyrodill and IC a blast for the most parts although there is definitely grind or wait time boredom. Plus buying that shiny new toy, yep!

Just ramp up the solo difficulty and see if that perks things up a bit..

Have you tried joining a guild? Usually if you want good groups fast in an mmo you join a guild of like minded individuals. Pugs and casual gamers have always struggled to complete end game content.
