Crafting Writ Quest Turn Ins

I find the writs ridiculous to accomplish. The rewards are okay not spectacular but the time and materials put in to get them done is not optimal especially when you put in more to make them then you get back in rewards. Okay I will accept that just to get a boost in crafting experience but then finding the place to turn the finished product in is completely time consuming and you have to try and search online just to find the place to turn in. The writs turn in quest should at least tell you the zone to look in instead of making you fast travel and hop all over creation or spend time doing online searches to figure out possible places to go to turn them in.

It is totally ridiculous, especially if you have had to spend an hour or so just to find the correct materials to craft your items in the first place. I already have limited time in game. I am about to give up on doing these stupid writs when I cannot even find where to turn in the finished product. A person should not have to search online to figure out how to turn in a quest. That totally ruins any immersion and definitely sours the game experience.

I have noticed that turn-in location info is a common question.

Often, you can determine the location by bringing up the quest in your journal and hitting the map key. However, I find the journal map can be glitchy. If you are in town and bring up the journal map, your current town map will be displayed instead of the quest marker.

I know they spread out the writ turn in locations to spread the players out, but it would be nice to be able to turn them in anywhere.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I do not even have a huge issue with the turn ins being spread out but the quest info should give you an idea of where to go to find the turn in spot.

BowD, that is a nice list and helpful, thank you for posting it. It still does not change the fact that you should not have to have that list and people should not have to leave game to look such info up online just to find where to turn the quests in.

To be honest the problem I'm having is actually finding a recipe or rune rather than turn in. The 'Show on map' feature works fine for me.

I agree it would be nice if it told you the city it was in at least or something, rather than whatever the name is like somethingorother refugee site and whatnot. But I haven't had too much trouble locating them as they seem to always be the main city of the zone that corresponds to the level of the crafted item.

But then again I tend to go on an exploration tour with my characters around level 10 - just follow all the roads and discover as many wayshrines as possible in all the zones I can acess so... I've already got the main cities on my map for my crafters. The main reason I do this is to be able to get to the crafting stations though.

I agree they are a common problem for people (myself included). I am having problems with the fact I overreached on my BS material passives and now all my writs are asking for the materials that are many levels ahead of my current main level.
