How about a true PvP campaign DAO C style!
I purchased this game after PC beta because I loved the gameplay but all the issues back then drove me away. It finally seems the game has some great potential again and there is one thing that is missing for me and it’s a feeling of true PvP progression ala the DAOC realm rank system.
The champion point system would be perfect for this if it only gained ranks from PvP kills, that way it would be similar to DAOC’s RA system. I propose that a new campaign be added that while inside, uses a different champion tree that only gains points from actual player kills within that campaign. When you leave that campaign you go back to your normal tree and any points you gained while inside the “DAOC style” campaign can then be applied to your normal champion tree that exists for PvE and all other campaigns.
It may not be as popular as the other campaigns but I think there are a lot of us that would like to know that champion points were gained through pure PvP. The issue with the shared PvP/PvE system is it that is always seems way more efficient to gain points (whether it is vet exp or champion pints) via PvE. This campaign option would fix that for those who choose to play in it.
