eclipse breaking with a purge

as a templar (and obviously a biased one) i really dislike the fact that people can break eclipse (and it's morphs) without using a purge.....
all over negative effects / curses need a purify, and the only way to break a DK's wings is to deplete them, so why do templars get screwed about that skill?
people need to / do use a purge in pvp anyway, so it's not like it will turn the tides

I don't like it either but if it worked as you propose, every magicka build in the game would 100% be required to slot and use purge. While slotting it is a good idea, it should not be mandatory simply because of one templar skill. No other class has an ability that requires other classes to slot something.

Wings prevent projectile caster from attacking one DK. Eclipse prevents him from attacking anyone. Since the latter completely shuts down projectile casting, it is considered a form of CC, and thus is removable with CC break.
