I keep reading about how ability x is spammed toouch and is way to OP.

Streak, WB, cloak, perma block / dodge / shield.

Instead of tinkering around with these abilities, lets just cut to the chase. Its the spamming of these abilities that people had issue with. Well, I guess shields being able to stack is the outlier.

Simple solution suggestion: if you use the same ability within 1.5 secnds it costs 30% more than the previous time. They started doing it already, just make it applicable to everything, you can even reverse some of your other nerfs ( Im looking at you stam regen).

    I also thought about something like this. Before we had the soft caps and we didnt need any mechanics like this. Then the resource management was important. Now we are able to spam our skills at least the attacking one cause they nerfed all defensive ones except cloak.
    Because I can!

    This is called: skill cooldowns.

    ESO decided to the route of resource management instead of cooldowns.

    Decrease regeneration and suddenly everyone will use skills more tactically. Although atm in Cyrodil you can run out of everything and still unable to kill a player character. (If both players know what they do. There were many instances we were standing in front of each other panting, catching breath. Till eventually aid for one or the other side arrived.)

    I do miss the soft caps.

    PvP is wierd now it takes much longer to die even when outnumbered and 1v1 drags. I think it still needs some work.

    But my suggestion while similiar to a skill cooldown, wouldnt prohibit the use, it would just raise the cost. It should keep the basic flavor of what they implimented without radically changing it.

    • Remove health regeneration (while in combat) from the game completely.
    • Triple or even quadruple everyone's health pool.
    • Reduce the effect that gear and champion points have on weapon/spell power and physical/spell resistance. Make everything fairly baseline, with maybe enough room for you to choose ONE of those four stats and increase it by up to 20%
    • All instant-cast healing spells should be limited to slow/long-term HOTs only (no instant burst heals)
    • Remove passive Mag/Stam regen from the game and replace it with better resource gains from fully-charged heavy attacks
    • Give all burst heal abilities a cast time (with a very noticeable cast effect) which can be interrupted
    Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

    Wait, wait.. here's a crazy idea. Everyone quit crying for nerfs on the forum. ZOS will have no feedback to go off and nothing will get nerfed. People are complaining about spells from all classes, so everybody is guilty of having an apparently "OP" skill, so let's just shut up so nothing will get touched again. Thank me later.

    Ok, so three things they could do in PvP.

    Thing 1 use battle whatever effect to institute a skill cooldown, thus the using same skill in repetition will ONLY effect cyrodiil.

    Thing 2, make servers of Cyrodiil that are entirly PvE what I mean by this is have a Cyrodiil you just fast travel to via wayshrine, all forts and such still are there but can't be captured, and are filled by NPC's the battle leveling will be off, and it'd be treated as a general PvE zone, this would do many things, it'd eliminate issues with PvP server space because it'd just be a part of genral pve, it'd also give players a new End Game zone as well, especially if it still scales players to vr14, not to mention people who don't wanna deal with PvP but wanna enjoy the Imperial City/Cyrodiil content can do so.

    Thing 3, Remove the ability to grief by having safezones toggle near any/all quest objectives/zones because the amount of times I've spotted two or three people of even my alliance near quest givers is insane, ESPECIALLY in elven gardens district where you need "forge the key" its ludicrous, just make us invincible when we initiate an action or get within 5m of a quest zone, and swinging a sword removes it.

    The new battle spirit (de) buff Hass all things covered through 50% everything....like the massive nerf to my blazing shield build...and massive nerf to block build...and massive nerf to heals. Thanks for your suggestion, but it sucks
