How to get less Lag and improving PvP

Hey,

actually there are 2 important ways in my opinion to get rid of zergblobs that ruin pvp experience and to reduce the performance issues in Cyrodiil.

1. Get rid of zergblobs: Remove the Aoe Cap and bring back the old way to gain Ultimate, this would lead to better players being able to destroy zergs pretty fast aswell as utilizing there ultimates better and
2. it would decrease the performance issues, because the server wouldn't have to calculate all the AoE cap things with first 6 take 100% damage next take 50% then take 25% etc, also reducing the amount of zergblobs by being able to kill them effectivly would reduce the amount of players at one place which leads to a more over the map spread playerbase and due to that to less performance issues.

What do you think about it?

@ZOS_RichLambert would love a /lurk at this topic
@ZOS_BrianWheeler

[with zergblobs are those larger amounts of 50+ not organized players meant and not the 20 man organized raids, they would still exists I guess]

    I don't think it would help they need to improve the PvP combat to not make Zerg play the only way to play. I prefer small skirmishes of equal powered players (I call this the non Vet campaign) however right now the only way to beat a Zerg is to be in the 1% of uber players who can kick the crap out of 20 other players and Win, or in your own Zerg.

    The AOE wont stop the Zerg because that's all they kick out Steel Tornado and healing and run into each other. Maybe cutting the cap would result in one Zerg winning quicker than it does now but it would probably just mean there was no way to beat the 1% who fight 1 vs 20 and win.

    Hate to burst your bubble but the whole zerg-play is necessary for successful sieges when the enemy is zerg-defending. It's war, not your average run-of-the-mill PvP, so naturally legions of players, aka troops, fighting together are not something to look down upon. People only complain about zerging because they want good ol' fashioned PvP but far as I'm concerned players in Cyrodiil behave exactly as soldiers in any real life war would play out.

    Consider IC a raid place of sorts lol

    For the record I support the addition of dueling. If we ever get that we may actually get traditional PvPing but until then zerging is just something you'll have to bite the bullet and deal with. Speaking of bullets, bet you're glad this game doesn't have guns huh? :p

    No, changing the ulti gain back would exactly produce those small skirmishes^^ and there is always a way to beat an equally skilled player, those 1v20 people are just humans aswell, they fail as everyone does
