Cannot interact with the skyshard in Soulshriven tutorial armed with a resto staff

The prophet is ready to leave the tutorial and bids you to hit the skyshard but it cannot be activated if you have a resto staff in your hands. You have to disarm and use a dagger or whatever else to activate the skyshard and leave the tutorial.
