I recall ZOS saying somewhere that they would release more info on Orsinium shortly after the IC update hit all platforms. Well, it has been a while and we have still heard nothing, why? Its a bit disheartening since there is no real substantial PvE content to do, and it somewhat gives me the feeling that ZOS doesn't care as much about PvE as PvP anymore.

    End of the year. Sometime in December. Assume Orsinium will hit pts first, before going live. Fact is, pvp needed more content, just as pve does.

    Unless they go back to the original mix of Solo, group and PvP that was in the initial launch then IC may be the last PvP this games sees. The only question is are the other zones in the pipeline solo or group?

    I personally hope they go back to the mix.

    Well there's the two new dungeons that are pure PvE, unless you've figured out a way to farm that extensively. Then there's the fact that the console patches were released only this week, so a lot of their community managers are focused on making sure those go smoothly. I'm not really sure what's disheartening about waiting a few days, really.

    Also, this patch was really controversial from a PvP perspective. On the one hand we have new areas to do fights in and the lag is pretty much over (except for some FPS issues on rare occasions, which is WAY BETTER than the old unresponsive skills issue). On the other, we have to share population caps with people who not only don't want to PvP, but actively avoid it at every turn, meaning we're actually fighting less. Couple that with the new areas being constantly inundated with PvE mobs and with no PvP objectives except "get Tel Var Stones", and issues with burst damage being insufficient for how many people like to play, and you've got a patch that ends up falling short of expectations.

    The only thing related to pvp that pvp players got with this update is the ability to kill each other. Pve players got 2 dungeons, IC and the sewers to get their grind on.

    I'm still waiting for the PvP update

    Actually, a lot of mmo PvE DLCs come with mixed PvE PvP questing. It's nothing new and has been like this for years. It's not original, IC is just ESO'S take on it.

    As another poster said.. its not "been a while". Its been three or four days for console IC.

    With a probable release date in December, you wont see that puppy on PTS until November, with a FEW press releases before then.

    Then, when you add in that they have already said Orcsinium will have where a level 1 gets power-leveled to be able to group with a VR16, so both get benefit.... add in their success with that in Cyrodiil since launch.. sigh.. yeah.. November is probably pushing it..

    They said every 3 months which would mean end of November - which would mean we'd be seeing PTS about now, if they planned to meet their promises.

    Having played for well over a year my expectation is that Mantikora's tongue is less forked than theirs...

    Wait until the end of Orctober before you go assuming PTS schedules. From what we know about Orsinium, there's no way they'd need that long on the PTS for it. It's a bunch of solo content, not really a huge issue in terms of scaling and the like. I mean maybe they'll throw in a new dungeon or whatever for kicks, I don't really know, but even that isn't going to need the same kind of in-depth testing that other major patches have brought.
