VoIP Issue - In Serious Need of Help

So since ESO was released for the PS4, my best friend and her fiancé have yet to be able to use the Voice Chat within the game. It always says that there may be network maintenance or a configuration issue. Through thorough investigation it was discovered that neither of those are what's affecting their voice chat capabilities.

I have a friend who works for Zenimax who was able to give me more information than the automated responses you get from sending in tickets. It is beyond frustrating that you have a game you love but you can't fully experience it because you can talk to anyone. And this issue has been occurring since they got the game. Never have the spoken a word to another ESO player. This has prevented them from selling/buying/trading items directly from players, being involved in guilds and PvP groups because they can't talk with anyone, etc.

And from what I hear, this is a rare issue that the VoIP team may know how to fix. I'm afraid that because it is so rare that nothing will be done about it anytime soon because not too many people face this issue. But you have to understand how messed up it is to have to experience this particular problem and nothing be done about it. It's like buying a really nice surround sound gaming headset but you can only listen in stereo. My best friend and her fiancé love this game but it is really hard to be fully immersed when they can't talk to anyone. I passed their PSN IDs to the VoIP team (through my friend) within Zenimax but I haven't heard anything back. So hopefully with this post, a little more effort will be made for the unfortunate people experiencing this issue. Please, Zenimax. Help my friends and all the others having this rare but terrible issue. Put yourself in their shoes and show that every Zenimax supporter matters.

    U can try to get them in a trading guild most don't ever talk to one another they can just post the items they want to sell in a guild trader/store that will help them with selling/buying atleast

    This is another reason why this game need the chat box

    Did you already check if ports 5060 and 5062 are opened on your router? Some ISP have those closed on your router to prevent you using VoIP. My ISP doen't allow me to use port 5062 but the game seems to work fine with just 5060 open.
