Can't get Light from the Darkness quest!

Hi,

I'm VR1 and on the Army of Meridia quest. I've competed the "Rescue Vanus Galerion" and "Restore the Hollow City" tasks. But when I go to rescue King Laloriaran Dynar, there's no Light of Meridia under the tree at the Lightless Oubliette to get like there should be, which I believe kicks off the Light from the Darkness quest. I've gone in to see if I could still get the crystals without first grabbing the light, but no dice. So I'm completely stuck on the main quest line which kinda sucks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck getting the help you need. I have been stuck with broken pillars for almost a week and have reported and seen reports but no one has stated a fix is coming so I am just sitting here. It reminds of when Molag Bal was bugged after release and it took me a month just to defeat him because he liked to fly in the air and never come down. Was super... I do love this game and so far, since my replay, I have not come across a major bug like this but this one stinks :-(

Check the end of this video, it's definitely possible to complete the quest, but you'll have to run back and fourth to reactivate the 2nd pillar every 5-10 seconds or so. Took me 10 minutes

Thank you for your recommendation, Hyssia. The problem, however, is that at the 40 second mark of the video, the person has the Light of Meridia shining on him and three crystals are displayed. I cannot get the Light because it's not underneath the tree as it should be nor can I access any of the three crystals inside. The "Light from the Darkness" quest has not begun.

Is this going to be fixed? This is still bugged as of October 12th.

@DarthElmo Just to check, did you do the quests Into the Woods/The Shadow's Embrace/An Unusual Circumstance at The Moonless Walk? You have to do two of these before you can get Light from the Darkness.

@Tan9oSuccka The missing beams of light bug is supposed to be fixed in this week's patch for PC; not sure if it's also in this week's console patches.
