Feedback / Suggestion / Ideas - for mass character changes in the future

Would have been cool to send out a mail or mass message or three days prior to launch of 1.7 saying "X is going to happen on Y day... look to the forum here... for more info about this change... most notably, skills will change and you will have the option to respec all points on your character!" In hindsight, it's always easier to consider this stuff, but if it helps think about future changes like this - perhaps a few messages prior to the update - a simple mail or notification might suffice... it could have been a real win and customer first kind of approach to the roll-out.
Also, it would have been handy if they started each player with a "here is how you previously spent your points" UI screen... Then you could have a toggle that asked, "want to respend same way?" At least I could have seen what I did previously...
Want to take it a step further, on a per stat basis, could have given me a toggle similar to attributes... and could have said YES PLEASE KEEP IT, or NO THANKS and reallocated that point... something to preserve my previous choices would have been appreciated.... if not that, then maybe at least highlight the skill choices I previously made by making them yellow? I don't know... something to make it a bit easier knowing what I picked before would have been nice.
A word on attributes too... a sweeping change like this, they affected how various skills worked. It was quite nice of them to allow us to pick skills again... but why didn't we get to select attributes as well? In my toon's cases, my attributes were each affected as they changed the damage and healing curve in this update... and even if they didn't, it was difficult across several toons to remember where each of their 100-200 points each went so after, my dps curves were all off and I needed to reallocate attribute points in some cases. Would have been nice to get a free attribute offering due to this change considering how broad of brush stroke the change was.
Finally, the Mundus... in some cases - the mundus was taken off... if you remove the mundus I had - couldn't you at least offer me the chance to put it back on? Or even better, if you take it off... could you offer me a pick list of which one I want since you did remove the one I had before? I mean a one time customer service please pick which Mundus you want since we at ZoS changed everything on you sure would have been a nice customer service thing to do...
Anyway, if you're listening ZoS - I spent night one scratching my head a bit really trying to figure out how to rebuild and reallocate all of my points. I feel like you could have made this transition a bit easier on us, the consumer and player. If any of this could be considered the next time you move to do an update like this, it would be greatly appreciated. Customer first approach in any service industry is always something to strive for.
