They made a FUBAR patch.

The black place holders, the long loading time, the falling to your death travel system, the random lag spikes, the crashing and on and on and.....................on.

This is very sad that almost a month later two of the introduced bugs w/update 7 have not been fixed.

I agree with a previous poster in that it seems three or four new mounts or costumes might be introduced before we see a fix.

I know most will not care,but this crap has gone on long enough I don't have all damn day to wait on a loading screen that may or may not crash the game.Before anyone gets the bright idea to say its on my end its not trust me.I think my ass is going to Fallout 4 and maybe single player crap.

The new load screens and constant disconnects were fairly frustrating in the beginning, but I've found that taking a break from ESO has been rather refreshing. It's given me time to catch up on watching some of the shows that I've been neglecting! Thanks Zenimax!

I feel like the only person who has experienced the exact opposite of this. I used to get awful load times, not just when zoning or fast-traveling, but NPCs would take ages to load in as well, and numerous places (like the bank in Davon's Watch) would take upwards of five minutes to fully render after I went in.

Now my load screens are only a few seconds instead of several minutes, NPCs pop in much faster, and I haven't experienced the interior of buildings taking a long time to load anymore.

I feel like I dodged a giant bullet here somehow. My loading screens were bad enough before; I couldn't imagine having to deal with something twice as bad.

Maybe ZoS should remove the Torchbugs and Deer from PvE territory?

Well I suppose if the load screen thing works, the player population will have a sharp decrease, and then we won't have long loading screens anymore. Who needs all these pesky new players in game anyway?

I'm going with this one. Not only are the screen loads longer, but the in-game issues clearly indicate to me there's a problem communicating with the server.

It could be the additional code added by IC, having problems because it's processing even though many don't have the DLC.

Rivenspire seems to be the hardest hit. I have such trouble playing the area that I decided to bail until a patch fixes the patch.

Maybe this is the game's way of saying "you play me too much. Go play Dishonored."

Yeah, no. I'm "this close" to VR10 and I'm looking forward to Craglorn.

I doubt that.

Long loading screens have gotten worse with every patch for the last year.
In the beginning it was only occasionally that players noticed long loading screens e. g. porting in and out of trials. Not everyone got them and it did not happen every time.

Since then we have seen a few patches and it has gotten worse. Since IC they finally managed to make it so that every single loading screen is a long loading screen.

Funny fact: I wrote this forum post while on a loading screen.
They take so long that you have to read or have your browser open and do something else while playing eso.

It is not supposed to affect non-vets? Well, that is wrong.I am a non-vet and my loading screens take so long, I generally get up and go to the bathroom or do the dishes. I suppose it is them looking after us, getting us to get up and walk around for a bit?

They are using the same RNG to decide if you load as the one if you get any decent gear. You should all feel lucky your screen ever loads.......
