Game is unplayable

After this last update I can't play anymore with out experiencing serious glitches. I'll go to a way shrine and try to use it and my weapon fires and it won't let me travel other times the map will zoom in and out by itself and won't stop long enough for me to pick a destination . I can't dismount my horse. I fire my staff and it won't stop firing.
I have rebooted my PS4 and changed controllers and it's still the same.
I also noticed with the last update the skills that I was using are nowhere to be found. They replaced them all with new ones.
What did they do to this game I have over 150 hours into playing and everything is messed up.
Is anyone else having issues?

It might not be the game. I'm on PS4 and haven't had any of those problems.

All my other games play fine so it's not the unit.

Yup - XB1 -- Constant skills dont show -- my restoration staff and lightening staff dont have the constant skill like before - I couldnt even tell I was attacking anything!!!!

I have a V7 V1 several lower chars and all are non playable ue to skill glitches

Didnt even try to use a wayshrine or fast travel who knows what would happen

Game crashed 3 times b4 even getting to the load screen

Guess its back to Destiny and Skyrim

Thanks ZoS for screwing up what potentially could have been a great game

The skill issue is probably because they reset all the points you spent in skills because a lot of skills changed, you need to spend your points on skills again.

I spent the 121 points on the skills but they are not the same as they once were.

did you remember to also buy the morphs you had before?

and yes some skills are not the same as before, a lot of things got changed, many old builds are not so good any more and you have to adapt and use new builds now.

I morphed everything I could. The skills they replaced them with are weak. I'm more concerned about all the glitches I really liked the game. The other games I have play fine with no trouble. I have two controllers both are almost new and both work great on other game..I'm at wits end here.
Is there anyway to reset what they did?

I've had no issues with playing the game on PS4 since I downloaded yesterday. I have re-applied my skill points as I usually do after a big patch where they change some class balances, I was running around Imperial City last night with a couple guys taking down mobs and fighting other players which was fun. Other than a graphical thing with beams not showing up with some abilities or my resto staff and a couple other small glitches with my friends list, I think everything is working as it should and how they said it would. And as with EVERY new patch or piece of content ANY MMO comes out with, there will be bugs to iron out. And they will get ironed out. Sorry you are having such a bad experience with it

Also my freind list is blank it removed every freind I had. It's going to be impossible to remember the names of them all.

It's a bug everyone is experiencing. I am sure they will fix it either in a hot fix or next weeks maintenance. It's an MMO. New patches are always buggy. Just the way MMO's are.

Two things are in play here I think, firstly they have changed a lot of skills and some builds need to be changed because they don't work well any more, and secondly I think they have actually made some mobs a little harder in the veteran level areas.

I played last night on PS4 for several hours and this morning for about an hour without a crash. There are too many variables that go into the performance of a large MMO that doesn't always boil down to ZOS not doing their job. I know personally, I have very fast internet hardwired into the back of my system. My PS4 is newer (within the past month and a half). I don't know, just give it time. Other games on your PS4 run great because they probably aren't massive MMO's. Hope everyone who is having such a bad time with this DLC, eventually has a better time with it, because it's a lot of fun!

I definitely feel like mobs are a little more challenging which is kind of nice. I am running Cadwells Gold right now on my Vet 11 and it does feel like I am fighting for my life a little more now instead of just mowing every down like I was before the patch

You have no idea how good or bad his game is running. People who wade into these conversations claiming all is right with the world because their own experience is fine, so no one else could possibly be having issues are every bit as bad as those who post "OMFG, THIS IS THE MOST BROKEN GAME EVA!!one11!!" with little or nothing to back it up. Step out of your little bubble once in awhile and maybe you'll realise your own experience isn't always what others will be experiencing.

If the vast majority of us are not having this problem, you can draw a few conclusions:

1) It's probably not server-side.

2) "Game is unplayable" is a highly inaccurate generalization.

Well if you have to go through what I'm going through you'd say the game is unplayable also...SOoo my generalization is is pretty good. If it works great for you that's fine but as the other poster replied don't base everyone's experience on how it works for you.

Vast majority, by definition, means "significantly more than 51% of the population." Now, I will bet you real money that "significantly more than 51% of the population" don't have even a hint of the problems you're describing. What does it even matter?? I'm saying there is a problem your saying there's not case closed ,it can't be settled by money or any other way because 50% or over that will never post on here. I see your a very competitive person maybe you should bet the horses...lol I'm not trying to belittle you I'm just trying to state that it could be more people than you or I know about that has a problem with it.
I'm going back to Destiny so it's not even going to be an issue with me any longer. Peace Bro.
