All stats been reset after new update?

Hi i logged in yesterday a few hours after the update had gone live and i was just wondering if having your stats and skillpoints reset was part of the update? If not is it a bug and should i just allocate them back accordingly?

Mike_IG✭Skill points were reset as a lot of the skills have had changes applied to them and so may no longer be viable for the character you have.0
