Anyone else experiencing game breaking lag?

Having horrible lag problems, tried on my home internet and phone hotspot (which I regularly game fps with no lag on, and have used for ESO previously many times).

So far my experience has been, play 2 mins, lag out, try and catch up to group, lag out.

I eventually got a decent run going and was able to play until I was able to get nearly 1000 stones. Of course, I lag out and come back to find a bunch of AD have killed me while lagged and I lost a ton of stones.

Absolutely game breaking for me and I have no desire to play.

If lag in this game didn't exist it would be fantastic.

Cool thing about it now is I can lose tel var stones to it.

Pc Eu here and same. Worse after IC dlc. Now I even have ability lag when playing PvE solo... and no there weren't a ton of players arround. Maybe they're waiting for that nice player creating an anti lag addon...

Reading your post left me unsure whether you understand the difference between FPS- and server-lag, and their causes.

You mean because of the "ability lag" in PvE zones? It happens.. I guess I'm playing 99,9% of my ESO time PvE solo, and during the last weeks, that odd lag got worse.
While the FPS stays pretty much the same (during combat), the abilities often work only after pressing the buttons 5 times or whatever. The game just doesn't recognize the input. Or it does, but too late; I often can see that f.e. my weapon is about to charge (let's say, for an Uppercut), and then it just stops the animation because the enemies are not there where I can see them. Next thing I see is they're actually behind me.
I guess this is why the abilities seem to lag, because the game does.

On PC, have been experiencing lag (again) in PvE since IC DLC. While not playing in IC.

ps4 an NA server- game was so bad last night I actually gave up after 3 hours and getting kicked 14 times and the actuall play time I did get was so laggy that it was not worth doing. could not even pick up materials most of the time

Yes this is happening to me as well. I'll hit a button a few times and nothing happens. When it does it will suddenly do a bunch of stuff at once, but not even all the buttons I clicked. And the top it odd the NPCs attacking me don't have any lag or breaks in the damage they do to me.

Azura has always been lag-fest in PS4 EU, I was playing today on Thornblade and no problems.

Lag has always been a massive issue with ESO, especially in PvP. Now that we have PvE content directly intrigated with PvP it seems as though it's gotten a lot worse.

There's been several times I'll be running about the sewers solo, no other players around, and the game stops registering what I'm doing. My character will still move, once and a while still cast a spell, but ultimately end up crashing to the login screen. This same situation has happened while in groups both small and large.

I've tried hardwiring my connection, using different wifi channels, changing to different routers I have laying around, and nothing seems to help. Currently I am staying at a new house and the same issues are plaguing me here as well.

As there was always debate whose end the lag and drops are on, I can clearly state it is not on my end. As I have taken every step to be sure of this.

I just quit for the same reason... I really have no interest in this lag fest bs.

Let me know when they fix this ***, I'm off PVP for a few days unfortunately.
