Why don't you release patch before maintenance or while your doing it so we can download it for maintenance being over?

Don't understand why you make us wait... Is there a reason? If not get it sorted so we can, be productive think ahead.

    This maintenance is the patch preparation. Once it's over we can begin downloading the patch.

    The patch would've been ready well before now so why not upload it so we can download it while they sort the server out... That's what i mean in case you didn't understand.

    I turned on my ps4 thinking it would download the update.

    This is stupid.

    The ps4 auto update never corresponds with the time a game patch is released, so I always end up having to sit on a loading screen while the update is downloading.

    Zos can you please release the patch before maintenance next time so we can download the update while the servers are down?

    Theres a patch for the server and theres one for the client, correct Mr. Right? (Sarcasm)

    What i'm saying is upload the CLIENT update so we can download while they do the SERVER update.

    Other games allow you to download the update while the server is down.

    The update is released the moment maintenance begins.

    DC universe and Destiny did this.

    No maintenance, no patch. This basically is them implementing the patch which once implemented will be available for download. As bad as things can get on these servers at times Zenimax cannot afford to be sloppy like those other games apparently are. In case you didn't know, TES games have a tradition of not running the smoothest...

    Hes correct that maintenance is for patching the server BUT we can patch our clients while they do their server. I'm tall enough thanks.

    It doesn't work that way in a MMO with thousands of players on the same server.

    I'd rather wait until maintenance is done before I boot the PS4 up. Also saves on electricity.

    They should do the maintenance ealier I really wanted to play when I got home but now I have to wait to download 5gb after school and idk how long it will take so probably no IC today

    I live in Texas and the maintenance started at around 5AM my time.

    @OP You posted your opinion on a public forum, there are some who will agree with you and there are some who won't, if you want people to take you serious, keep to arguing your point! when you start throwing out insults or abuse, nobody will take you serious and this thread will eventually attract trolls and the whole point will be lost.

    The above is just a suggestion.

    I however don't mind waiting for the download or maintenance for that reason, I love the fact that the servers are maintained on a regular basis, yes it will sometimes brake into your gaming time, but I would rather that than have no maintenance whatsoever.
    As far as the patch goes, we will get it when they are ready to release it.
