how does the glass motif work?

I've got 2 glass motif fragments but I have no idea how they work and what they are worth :/. Thanks in advance for the help.

    My understanding:

    10 fragmented pages gets you one motif chapter.

    Once you get 10 fragmented pages, go to the mage guild to buy a certain item to combine them into 1 motif chapter. A chapter is like the Dwemer chapter where each chapter is a piece of gear. Like a helmet or a sword.

    So you need like 100+ fragments? Crazy.

    When you get 10, do you at least get to choose what chapter you get?

    Ridiculous. I finally collected all the dwemer motifs.


    And nope you don't get to pick them . Apparently there is a chance when combining 10 scraps you could get the whole motif. But more than likely you'll just get a single page.

    It's a lot, but it's something to work towards. I'm OK with that I guess. I either found or bought all the other ones ages ago.

    Just need to bang out those writs.

    I like the feeling of finally collecting all those pieces.

    Honestly this design they thought of for the Glass Motif is insane. I am just going to wait for this crap to hit the crown store sadly, not grinding 100 page fragments. You want to make it two or three page fragments makes a page... that's not too bad.

    So far I have only managed to collect 2 pages from this motif set (gloves & staves) having not missed a single day of writs in all 3 crafts. The chance to obtain them *seemed* better when it first released, but now I often go for 2-3 days without seeing a fragment drop.

    As I make income I occasionally buy a fragment off our guild trader just to support the guild while working on this insane grind.

    118 fragments to go.. :/

    Its a challenge, I'll tell you that, and either you have patience or just buy motifs/fragments. I myself am only missing 3 pages, and I've seen a guy today getting the full achievement already (even though I was ahead of him)

    no. the only thing related to the glass motif that gets bound, is the style stone, which you get by combining 10 Malachite Shards at any crafting station (just like the Dwemer Scraps/Frames). Malachite Shards are not Bind on Pickup.

    In the patch notes it said the resin was really expensive.

    10k is fine.

    Need to farm up mats like crazy now though

    The Sorrel horse is 10k gold.
