After having downloaded the patch, please follow the below list of actions:

1. After the rage has subsided, read the patch notes. I understand that it is a lot of stuff, but please be patient and read it all.
2. Once completed, make a short list of things you feel you did not understand fully. On paper, not as a separate forum post.
3. Take your list and perform forum searches for each topic, with both, 1.7 and 2.1 as additional qualifiers in your search query.
4. Read up those threads that you surely will find, either in "general", "combat & character mechanics", "PvP combat & skills", "alliance war" or "public test server" subforums.
5. Rethink your conclusions and evaluate the assumed bugs against the information found during those forum searches and reading.

Only after you have performed these steps, think about making a new post within the respective existing discussions. Only if you cannot find anything relating to your issue or if it is console tech specific, consider making a new thread. Furthermore, before making a new thread, please think about whether the content of your envisaged thread does bring additional benefit for the forum population at large. If it potentially does not do this, try a ticket first.

I think PC players are just as guilty of not using the forums properly. So whatever I guess.

I would just be happy if people posted their discussions in the proper subforums relevant to the topic. I still see PvP "Nerf this cuz I died!" threads littering the general section when there is a section specifically for that very topic. Oh well.

And that's why people who still call this patch "1.7" are completely wrong. I don't care if it's update 7, those guys are screwing up search results for new players. Why would they know that some people like to call the patch that came after 2.0, "1.7"?

Imo us console players are far more skilled then most pc players since we dont rely on add ons and our superiority complex. but thanks for the heads up big fella, enjoy that easy mode pc game.

Console players aren't bitching? Really? They seem to be bitching about all the same things as PC but with the added complaint of no chat and poor communication options. I guess I could *** about them bitching but in reality I don't blame them. There are legit reasons to *** sometimes.

What rage do you speak of? I didn't get mad after the patch, though I will say a few changes has me raising my eyebrows and the patch notes has nothing about these changes:

-There's an annoying clicking noise as I cycle the menu now.

-My familiar markers were removed and now I have no idea if they're behind me unless I constantly keep turning around.

-Crystal shards is acting up, where the animation fires, but before it's completed, just stops for reasons that still baffle me.

-Inferno staff knock back is more like knock down, where 50% of the time, the enemy just literally falls down in front of me rather than going "Yaaaaaaaaaaaah" as they're flying through the air. Have absolutely no idea what's causing this.

-Screen loads now 25% longer. This is a buff I'd rather do without.

Those are my only negative reactions to the update.

Positive changes:
-The bank now puts both capacity stats in the same view.

-Enchanting runes now have level display when selecting!!1!!

-Provisioning gets new stuffs to eat! Yummy. Haven't found a new recipe yet, but can't wait until I do.

That's it for now. Since I spent nearly an hour and a half restoring my character, I didn't get a chance to play much. I'm sure this list will be amended as I find all the quirks and improvements.
