No animation or beam shown in staff and other magic abilities. And friends list not working.

The effect still works, but there's no beam, like no beam from the staff, no beam from soul assault, etc.

OptimalTurnipSoul ShrivenSame for me. My shock staff, heavy attack no longer has a lighting effect? I see there is a similar post in the general discussion forum.

I'm PS4/PC player, so I'm just letting people know what I have seen posted already. On PC I don't have the beam issue, and PS4 doesn't have it yet...
BUT, there was another poster who made a thread about radiant oppression (Templar beam) not appearing, so I imagine it's the same issue.

driazenSoul Shriven+1 here as well on the no beam animations on anything. Vampire feed can be added to the list as well. Looks weird standing 4 feet from someone with blood splashing on my face and blood squirting from their neck but nothing in between.0

Uberkull✭✭✭✭✭I would prefer not to mix potential bugs in threads. So let's stick to beams and move friends list elsewhere. Jesus beam (Templar Radiant Oppression) has no beam, Healing staff heavy attack has no beam, basically any attack that use to have a stream graphic that connected the character with its target is gone.
If this is as designed ZOS, shame on you. If you are trying to resolve Lag issues on the console, you don't go about it by eliminating attack effects that a customer actually plays the game for. We like our beams. What exactly did you ADD to justify eliminating beams? Will we now be able to have a greater draw distance in Cyrodiil? Cause I still don't see enemy characters until it's to late if I'm on my 60 speed mount. Are you trying to reduce lag that wasn't there in the first place when a 100 people were on the screen? That wasn't a problem for me on console.
You should add beams back in, just make them thinner if lag is the problem you are trying to solve. Because right now, in pvp, no beam for Jesus beam is game breaking. You have no clue where an attack is coming from until it's to late with Jesus beam ...err 'palm'. You just light up and your health bar goes to zero. Ravens-Sonata✭✭✭XB1 -- Constant skills dont show -- my restoration staff and lightening staff dont have the constant skill like before - I couldnt even tell I was attacking anything!!!!
My chars are Templars and Sorceresses - Animations on both with Skills and Staff screwed up
I have a V7 V1 several lower chars and all are non playable ue to skill glitches
Didnt even try to use a wayshrine or fast travel who knows what would happen
Game crashed 3 times b4 even getting to the load screen
Guess its back to Destiny and Skyrim

rdowdy95Soul ShrivenI have some some beam animations not showing up for me as well. I don't have all the powers that some of you have, but here is a list of some things I have noticed.
* No fishing line on fishing pole.
* Vampire Drain Essence no beam graphic.
* Vampire Feeding no beam graphic. (I love that trail/beam of blood.)
That's the main ones I have noticed cause I do lots of vampire stuff and lots of fishing.
It shouldn't be too bad of a fix. Devs just have to put that back in since the update took them all out.0 -
Big problem... Fighting Gamyne Bandu in Fungal Grotto Veteran and the Misery Beam is missing to show which 2 group members are connected0
