Update

Since the update my character has lost health and weapons are weak.
I am vet 5 and could defeat vet7. Now I cannot kill a level 2.
I am level 12 champion.
This update sucks.

I kinda noticed this too. Randomly went back to a vet 2 area (I'm vet 5 or was at the time) and causally went on a killing spree killing enemies I was face rolling the day before. today, I actually died first time against them. I thought it was funny if truth be told. Just have to be more wary and not go racing in.

^ This. As well, I'm not sure about console, but check your mundus stone. On PC a lot of players had theirs reset, maybe this didn't happen on console though.

There were also changes to mobs, you may want to look over the patch notes. They were buffed a bit, plus with many small changes made to things such as weapon/spell power lower on crafted sets etc. you may be a bit weaker.

I saw that my skill points were reset and re assigned them.
My champion points show as still being there but I am still getting killed.
I also noticed that my Mage Stone blessing was removed.

now the game is no fun.

Have you checked your ability points too? Not sure if they reset, but I think they did on at least one of my characters. You've also got to remember some skills got changed recently too(which is why they reset the skills), so it may just be that the build you are using is no longer viable and you need to change it.

It looks like my ability points are still there but not working.
If I change my character, I have to start all over?
it took me all this time (I bought the pre release version) to get to level 5

It wasn't CP that was making the game too easy. It's that the game was too easy. It's actually still easy, and that still has nothing to do with CP. Your builds and tactics may have to change to approach the same results as before. The main difference I found since the patch is I can't sleepwalk through as many fights as before. I actually have to move out of telegraphs, interrupt casts, block or move away from heavy attacks etc. much more often now. As it should be.

I'm having similar issues since the update.. what I could easily solo with one of my stamina NBs before the update, I could NOT after the update with the other stamina NB, even at a higher rank and with more champion points (330 atm).

Funny thing happened just yesterday when I tried to do these Old Kargon's Keep worldbosses in Rivenspire (which is a VR3/silver zone for me) with my VR14 NB. After dying twice, I just left. These 3 never have been too easy before, but, c'mon, no chance with a VR14 agains 3 VR3???? Same with other certain bosses (not all of them, though) which I cannot do anymore after the update, but I could before. And, there's absolutely nothing wrong with my builds.
I really have enough playing any of my stamina characters, so I just stick to the magicka builds until this sh*t is fixed.

Damage and abilities were nerfed. It's in the patch notes.

    Less damage, more XP.

Look at your build. Look at your abilities. Look at how you approach a fight. It's a lot more fun (to me at least) than facerolling everything in sight. (Though I mostly still can ...)

game should be easy to level, instead of being lazy the devs should have added harder content not buffed mobs/nerfed chars.

    Thanks Mojmir,
    I agree.
The DEVS could have added harder campaigns at higher levels instead of making the entire game impossible for less agile gamers.

Indeed, or come up with some sort of difficulty scaling so that the folks who could defeat the whole Mongol army with just their pinkie could still have fun and not insist everyone else needs a more masochistic experience.

It's defeating the purpose of allowing players to level faster (particularly through VR) if abilities are diminished, enemies are stronger, making it just as long to get the XP.

@trimhorn, I knew the changes were coming due to the PTS patch notes, tried my best to prepare, but still found adapting to be quite the unnecessary challenge, and due to my favorite skill getting completely changed (and many other reasons), NOT AS FUN.

My spell damage actually went up considerably after the patch. Even though my sets went down in stats.
I note this change mostly to the new Apprentice Stone.
But I for one am way stronger than before.

    Well said Morizmo.

I don't recall which Stone I had last and which town to go to to get it back.
Now I have to find where all the stones are in the world and try them to see which works best!!!

The more I research, the worse it gets!

Ok, what other or better skills could I possibly use? Or which armor other than mainly medium for a stamina build? Or where else except for most in the stamina and some in the health stats should I put my stat points? All in magicka maybe?
Or how else could I possibly approach a fight? I approach the enemies as I used to, what could I change there? Sneaking through the back door, and if there isn't any, I just dig through the walls? Or using skills I crafted myself? Oh, wait.. no, I still can't.

There is literally nothing I could improve anyhow. And I know how to play the game, I'm not here since yesterday. However, the update is.
