Horse Armor?

So when i got to 20 points in speed on my horse i was pleasantly surprised to see that my horse had leather straps . So i figured that every time i put 20points into a stat something would be added.. this was not the case. At 40 speed nothing added. Then at 60 speed still nothing? Is all you get for speed just those damn straps? Seems like a wasted concept..

You get armor with stamina and bags with capacity after 20 points in each

Yeah you get armour on the mount once 20 points are in stamina, straps on them once there's 20 in speed, and saddle bags once at 20 in capacity. There's nothing after that. Would be nice if there was! Like you said, every 20 points, there could be a new version, more intricate design on the cosmetic items.

You used to get a blanket when you'd invested a total of 50 points in a horse. But that went away with 1.6.

Hope that blankets will come back, it was cool to win something when mounts reached max level

I suggested this a while back. Actual, Craftable armor for mounts. More motifs. More crafting. More gameplay. More Crown store items. Even add costumes for mounts.

Thank you for this information. I personally think the bags are hideous which means I'll stop putting points into carry capacity at 19.

But I like the straps.

C'mon, Zenimax! Just hire Gidorick already!

I may not like of his ideas but I've never seen anyone on any forum come up with so many ideas to improve a game, complete with thematic art and detailed explanations. Whenever I glance through a thread and I see one of those looks-like-Zenimax-made-an-Illustrator-image-of-how-the-game-works type images, I know it's Gidorick.

But I do like this idea. What if I want just a little carry capacity (maybe 10 or 20) but more speed? And it would be freakin cool to have race specific horse armor.

Could you imagine what the Bosmer would look like? (C'mon, I know you can ... )
