I'm having a hard time choosing between "Yes" and "Very much yes".
I almost feel like my view may not be represented here and that the OP is trying to convince others that his view is the one everyone shares my misrepresenting the opposed view...

LOLZ.. No. Polls report that only 10% of players even read the forums.
Of that, only 10% bother to post on them.
Of that, only a few are likely to participate in a poll, as they are relatively meaningless unless the game manufacturer is the poll taker.

Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
Where is new content? Sigh.
Fallacy of democracy? I mean, polling isn't an exact science, but it's far from useless. Even here.

Only if the poll is set up in an unbiased way ( ie without leading questions/answers) And as others have said the poll creator will have to keep in mind that the people on forums only represents a sample of people who play the game.
Lol how could it possibly be biased if it's in poll form??...
As an example- I would say that the distinct lack of a "no" or possibly an "I don't know" option in this poll means it's biased.
However, I'm not criticizing OP. I think that this is quite clever and ironic. Made me giggle.
EDIT- If you were joking then your comment was also funny and clever
