How many Tel Var Stones did you spend for your polymorph?

Yeah that's atrocious, I had 22,000 stones, I spent all except 1,700 on 3k boxes, no idea why I bothered. I'll stick to 600 boxes if I ever go back to IC.

Ok 3 boxes later I got the medium one (tormentor) so at least I don't feel my evening has been completely screwed. I was however looking for the dreadguard. So I guess I'll have to farm a bit more

I've been spending stones on both blue and green boxes since Imp City went live with no luck.

Two weeks ago I decided to save all my stones and spend them all on Oct. 31st. I saved up enough to buy 34 green boxes. I opened them all and got the poly I wanted most of all, the Augur.

Very nice Syrena!

I want the Dreadguard one, they've got different sized horns according to their armor type, scaling up. I use a female character and female Dreadguard polymorph has the most luxurious horns out of the three, instead of going forwards they go backwards and around.

I spent 250k TV-stones by now and got my 1st polymorph (the heavy armor one) yesterday...

!! Seriously... is the drop rate 1% ?!!! Or, 0.01% ?!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been farming these stupid tel var stones for about a week and a half str8 now, maybe more actually, and have got nothing out of it but useless junk and fat on my ass!! I'm almost ready to quit. And when i say that, I mean literally 24/7. Please, please, please, confirm the drop rate %?? If it is 1% (which I bet it is) then please increase the drop rate to something a little less STOO-PID?? I'm surprised at the lack of information on these polymorphs and such (are they that rare?) and even moreso at this lack of communication between fans of TESTU and ZoS. It's freakin terrible !!

The only decent thing that has dropped for me is the Stonefire scamp but you can stick that up where the sun don't shine. I really hope you consider either increasing the poly's drop rate %, making tel var stones trade able or selling the poly's in the crown store. Or, hey... Why not do the same with the Tel var stones? Really... why make all three poly's "very" rare in the first place instead of having it like... Tormentor (0.96% drop chance), Dreadguard (10%) and Augur (5%) or something similar? A little variety wouldn't hurt -- having one more common than another instead of all three being near impossible to get? That would be the more humane thing to do.

I agree. @ZOS, please post the drop rate for the 3k blue box and the 600 green box. There is no solid data in this post to create a accurate %.

Even if it's info like "Blue has twice the chance of dropping the poly then the green box", then we can equate the value of 1 blue box purchase vs 6 green.

Just got my first Xivkyn polymorph last night. Found the Dreadguard polymorph in 1 of the 10 blue lockboxes I bought.

To date, I've probably bought ~10 green and ~15 blue lockboxes.

Update: after 20 more blue lockboxes, I got the last two Xivkyn polymorphs. So thats a total of 10 green and 35 blue lockboxes for me to get all 3 polymorphs.

Got mine yesterday, I got the mage polymorph after spending around 40k a few months back and got nothing.

Then spent a further 10k the other day and got nothing.

Then tried my luck with 4k stones on me and finally got it.

(All were green boxes except 2 blues which felt painful knowing I spent 6k on nothing)


I will tell you this though, once you use the polymorph you forget about all the stones it took to get it because its awesome!
