im not gna say op op nerf hammer needed..... because that's dumb but man the way some ppl play sorcs is impressive.. had one vet14 this morning was in stealth so was I and I was resurrecting someone who had been killed by the sorc. when the guy popped rez he revealed the hidden sorc and at that time there was about 4-5 of us there all mixed levels from 35-myself vet12 and we layed into this said sorc he had idk about 5-10% hp when I threw a Jesus beam.... at the same time or right before that I just saw shield spam and bam full shield and started healing. while we were piling on him he fully healed spammed up full shields and escaped by climbing these logs that were nearby and bolting across to the upper area so we would have to go around to chase him by then he'd be gone or sheathed again.

all I could think was daaaannng that was awesome.. now if I could learn to do things like that in my class, not so new to pvp but not so great either, I could definitely get better. I just want to give props to those who have the skill to play that way and survive. Im mostly healer/survivability focused but that sorc surpassed anything I could have ever pulled off haha

Wouldn't chalk that up to big op, sounds like he's very creative tactically and deserved to get away from a gank pile :D

heck yeah its not the first time I have seen some crazy get aways like that but that was very impressive to go from very low to full hp and gone was impressive. I mean I can depending on the skill survive 2 ppl in pvp so far but eventually they will get the better of me since im mostly heals based with gear and skills. ik I have a lot to improve on for pvp since I used to only do it 1 day a week haha. but now I am finding myself enjoying it more and more even if I am mostly healer I can still do damage when I want if I decide to support someone in their kills. I mean heck my lvl 11 sorc that's built crazy kills more than my vet12 haha

Yes, all 3 other classes have "sth. special". DKs can jump up to you, Nightblades have fear + auto-stealth after each attack, sorcs have..., etc., and you, you have HEALS and your Templar's very easily interruptable skills (channeled/casted).. :)

You did the error when you chose your class, now what you can do:
    1) try a "bursty build" (but if you think, you're less effective.. you might be right!)
    2) purr-purr (have nice chats with other players you rezz)
    3) re-roll
    4) lfg / heal / buff

I wouldn't say error I just like healing and the Templar I do like the skills I know I wont be top damage or anything crazy like that. I just want to not be completely useless for anything but heals. I have other toons I am working on for that purpose of dps like my completely useless hybrid im making ik everyones views on hybrids but it is fun to play as a bow sorc haha smacking them down with crystal frag and then shooting a few leathal injections at them and sending my pet to go chomp on them is fun. might not be practical or anything but it is fun haha maybe cus in all the other es games I played a bow mage and that could be why I am enjoying it more than anything..

I was kinda hoping the Templar would have been closer to the neverwinter cleric but it fell short for me. in most mmos, that I've played, healers suck till late game then they gain a great skill im guessing jesus beam is that skill? it feels sub par tho.

    Shouldn't exist.

It's only used by low skilled people who simply refuse to learn to pvp better and decide to use a Op set instead of finally finding out what some basic pvp techniques are e.g. cc and burst ^^

I think, with a little bit of brain work, you can understand what is meant, which in this case is: the repetitive use of Dark Cloak. So I can call the skill Dark Cloak: "Vanish", "disappear" or "get invisible" or "cheap and spammable stealth", that is why I came to the conclusion, after having seen hundreds of magicka nightblades going into stealth every few seconds without any "real" magicka-loss, that the repetitive (pretty much automatic) use of stealth, "spamming", might also be called "auto-stealth", even if you got to push a button because it is "sth. very specific only one class can do.

Beside, there is an "auto stealth" mechanic in ESO: a 120 CP talent with "auto-stealth" after each kill with a heavy attack but it's not NB-specific. So, if you say: "there is no such thing as auto stealth", you might be wrong!

You can pull off great things on a templar too, don't worry. That guy did a nice escape, but image you were grouped with him... no need to escape  templars are awesome in groups.

OP, don't underestimate use of the surrounding environment. It can be a major game changer.

A skilled player will use every aspect of the fight to full effect.

Glad you got to witness this, and glad you're not jumping on the nerf wagon because your group got outplayed (which is not always a bad thing.)
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

Skilled anything ist good. In this case it was a sorc, the next time it will be something else. I remember this fight I had against a NB sometime in the last few days. Was on my Sorc farming trophies and looking for other players to fight when I got jumped by this NB (forgot the name :disappointed: ). Nearly killed my in a matter of 1-2 secs, but I recovered. And then we fought for about 5 minutes, I shieldstacking and s/he cloaking the whole time. Some close calls for both of us but in the end s/he disappeared and I didn't want to look

Fazit: every class is good as long as the player behind it is capable.
