Okay, DLC comes out on Wednesday for me, and I wanted to ask a few questions about the DLC that I have not found the answers to. Let us start with the XP change. For those of you with the add-ons, is questing through Silver and Gold a better XP gain than grinding? Are there better grinding spots now that the XP changes have been made to Craglorn and Public Dungeons? Speaking of public dungeons, is the 100% XP gain based on the quest or mobs or both? Also, on the topic of public dungeons, are these only public dungeons or delves also? I have heard from many people different answers but I would like to know from a PC user. Is the grind worth it now in a public dungeon if the mobs have the 100% XP gain?

By the way, I have completed the story line twice on two of my V14 characters. I have experienced the story and would like to quickly level up a third and fourth character to veteran rank. So, any PC help would be appreciated in helping me level 1-50 and then V1 to V14, V15, and NOW V16!

Yes, this is a double post for anyone that notices. I did not know which section to post in so I posted here and the guide section. Sorry.

Exp gains are much faster now than before, as expected. Questing is still the best source of Exp, but now Grinding is more viable. The Grind spots are the same, so if you know some, then go back those places. If you don't know them, google ESO Grind 1 to 50 for the maps. Public Dungeon Exp is better but still not as good as it used to be, although the Dungeon Boss kills do give a nice chunk, so run them at least once. And, yes both for the mob kills and quests. But to repeat them is only good if your farming loot. Surface grind spots are where you repeat it. Now, that being said, the respawn rate in Public Dungeons is such that over time, it may be about the same as surface grinding as you don't travel as far to get to all the mobs. So, maybe do some surface and public dungeon grinding to mix it up.

If your looking to farm champ points, here is what I would do. Focus on the Main quests for the zones, and grind on mobs to get any levels you may need. Then once you are VR Ranked, go back and do the quests you missed in the leveling zones.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

LOL. Grinding has and always will be the fastest way to level. Nothings changed from 1-v14. Getting v15-16 is fastest in the IC sewers and doing the reg wgt speaking stone achievement. key points: always group of 2 (10%+xp), fight mobs no more than 3 lvls above your for max xp, 4 lvl difference is -33% xp and diminishes further from there.

Quests take too much time getting to and fro, looking for quest givers, getting lost due to ZOSs screwy quest tracker, etc. Although if you need skill points the major zone quests are good.

Two different answers, but I am grateful to read them both. So, easier to level but both ways are still viable. Thank you very much for the responses.

xp buff isnt that good, was doing 350k xp/h doing cadwells silver today and i quest at the speed of light , 4th time doing them, grinding is the same but u'll need 150k less xp per vet rank barely noticeable. Public dungeon mobs now give you about 250 xp per mob with xp scroll so nothing worth it there... 1-50 grind v1-16 grind. google grind spots eso :)

Thank you @nothing2591 for the response. That is a lot more of what I was looking for from a pc user. I was hoping for some numbers. From what I understand then, the XP boosts are not worth changing from the already used grind spots? As in, there are not any new spots worth going to because of the XP changes. Alright then, stick to what I know.

    Thanks.
